Title: where did they come up with these E.R.A.'s
Post by: Gwynn3k on 02/14/02, 03:15:52 PM
Since when did Danny Cox have an ERA under 1.5?  The stats for the pitchers look like they have been made up.  I don't know about any one else but these ERA's look like they belong to Bob Gibson.  With all the offensive stats being as high as they are,  there is no way that the pitchers stats were taken from the same year.

Hey Gwynn3k, I'll have to agree with you, those ERA's are pretty much bullshit, but these are RBI legends they had to make them look good. I mean the same person thought it would be a good idea to put Houston on both versions and have George Brett right handed, and let them use alluminum bats. But all those things are what we love about this great game.

In 1994 Danny Cox had an ERA of 1.45, but you are absolutely right...

I don't have a logical answer for it, but perhaps those were the ERAs at the All-Star break?  Actually, that doesn't make much sense either....

I think George Brett being a righty should be a glitch, perhaps I'll add it to the page...
