RBI legend John Kruk has a new column on ESPN.com Page 2 (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=kruk/040416). It's mildly entertaining, although pretty rambling, and he doesn't make sense all the time. Basically, it's what you'd expect in a column by John Kruk. Also, he implies that the Yankees are soft.
Though I am not a big All-Star guy, I am always upset about bringing John Kruk in the game. Am I the only one? Do you guys actually feel good about giving Kruk full-time duty? For me, it has to be done because of the lineup, but I'm still not all that happy about it...
I think you gotta bring him in. I'm never happy with the Big Cat being in there.
The column is rather rambling but also pretty entertaining. Like you said, what should be expected.
John Kruk is going to make a lot of fans working at ESPN, he ranks on the Yankees and is basically you typical low class, beer chuggin, every man who people are going to relate with. It's kind of cool to have a guy like that on.
He is a fat, fat man.
Yeah he is kind of a fatty

He looks thin in that picture compared to his Baseball Tonight appearances. He looks very swollen in a suit.
He must have stopped working out after baseball.
:D
I'm pretty sure that Kruk stopped working out shortly after birth!
I believe it was Kruk who had the famous quote (in response to a woman asking how an athlete could use alcohol and tobacco), "Lady, I'm not an athlete; I'm a baseball player."
Kruk was always good for a quote. I remember when he was talking about a discussion he had with Dennis Cook about the difference between a Hick (Kruk) and a redneck (Cook).
