OK, I finally tried to pitch a perfect game w/strikeouts against the computer last night. Did it on my first try, Blyleven against Boston. It is much easier if you are allowed to strike out the computer, but I was wrong about being able to strike out every batter, only had 8 Ks in the game, the computer is a more intelligent hitter than I gave it credit for. Blyleven didn't really tire until the 9th.
Now I'll go back to trying the without strikeout Perfect game.
My only problem with pitching a perfect game is staying 9 innings without destroying the computer.
I do nothing but bunt when attempting a no-no...
I just got through the 7th and then ended up striking someone out. God damn shitty Houston hitters.
I love it that people are trying to make the computer a challenge. A FAQ question is definitley in order...
It is hard to play 2 player here in my office during work hours, that's why I am doing it, anyway. I've gotten through the normal perfect game but that's not the hardest thing in the world. This is frustrating though.
