ESPN The Magazine last week had a small mention that supposedly Jose Canseco is going to be in an upcoming action movie. Since IMDB usually has info on movies that are in production, I figured I'd search for Jose and see if I could find anything. No upcoming action flick, but it was still a fun page nonetheless. Here it is (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1154820/).
Jose's sole movie credit? The 2003 "Action" movie (that's how it's categorized in IMDB) Stripper's Ball (Jenna Jameson), playing himself. The movie also featured (also as themselves) Magic Johnson, Dennis Rodman, and Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
He also made guest appearances on Nash Bridges, The Simpsons, The Tony Danza Show, and Reading Rainbow (Episode title: "Dinosaur Bob and His Adventures with the Family Lazardo"). Also, the RBI Miscellany (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/misc.shtml) page probably should have him on the "involved with drugs" list, since he admitted to steroid use to help him sell his book.
Thorough report Beef. Added Canseco to the drugs list, though it's on the WATN (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/wherearetheynow.shtml) page...
There was a Tony Danza Show? I can't stand that fuck...
Stripper's Ball is piquing my interest, though if it's on TV it couldn't have been that bad...

"Angela-er!"
Should Canseco not also be on some sort of "Douche Bag" list?
I submit that he's the biggest douche bag in all of RBI. He's been a consistent douche bag throughout his career and post-career. He's a **** douchebag.
For some reason Canseco was my absolute favorite player for a good 6-7 years. Used to wear the A's hat and everything, what a fucking moron I was...
I just re-read my post, and it looks like I claimed that he tried to use steroids to increase book sales, not that he admitted to using to increase book sales. I'm getting a mental picture of Stephen King all 'roided up at a Barnes & Noble book signing, and it's funny.
Here's a bigger question--
Who is the bigger douchebag, Canseco or Tony Danza?
I'm leaning toward Danza. At least Canseco makes me laugh. And he banged Madonna.

Good question....however I must disagree with you purely because of the "Danza Smack".

Curt? That is hilarious? How on God's Green Earth did you know about that one?
Danza is by far the bigger douchebag. I remember all the bitching he did when Ellen came out on her show, saying how disgraceful it was and shit like that. What a fuck...
Plus he made that damn Disney movie where he was a placekicker for the Jets....

It was actually the Eagles. It was something like "The Trash Picking, Place Kicking, Asswipe"
Not a proud moment from Eagles fans. This is coming from a guy who watched a guy pee on a Cowboys fan in the lower level. I'd say the Danza movie was a lower moment in history for the Eagles than the peeing incident
How does it compare to Eagles fans cheering when Michael Irvin got hurt?
I love doing the Danza slap.

Yeah, Irvin has never forgiven the Eagles for that. You can see he's still bitter when he talks about the Eagles on ESPN.
I do think it's funny how so many people got pissed at the fans for that. These are the same people to call Irvin the scum of the earth cokehead wifebeater, hooker beater.
I really don't give a crap about all the booing. Nobody gets hurt from that (except people's feelings I guess).
In all honesty, I'd like to know which NFL fans are "classy"
Rams Fans are classy. ;D
So, did Danza actually do the "Danza slap"? The urbandictionary page implies that he had a porn career before he became a TV star - if so, has anyone actually seen the original "Danza slap"? And how disturbing was it?
