Chubbs and I played two games last night. We alternated wins and we both had SL when we lost.
I was Detroit for the first victory and hit 9 bombs. That's almost unheard of when playing slurve. 6 or 7 is a lot, but 9 is a fucking boatload. DaEvans could not be stopped. He had 4 all to himself.
Then Chubbs got redemption, as I picked SL and he got Boston. All he could say was, "it's my turn now, motherfucker." Sure enough, he was right. Johnny Tudor did not have his usual kneebuckling stuff, as Chubbs hit 8 homers. I actually kept it close, only losing by two. I think the final score was 12-10, but Tony Armas (who Chubbs is usually terrible with) had 3 bombs, two of which were two run shots.
Those were our first games in a while. It felt good to be back at Tengen Field. There's no place like home.
We also played some T&C Surf Factory and Double Dragon.

Reminds me of that song noturmasbutarms made...
