Title: RBI 3 Glitch
Post by: BeefMaster on 05/16/04, 07:10:41 PM
Anybody got a cartridge of RBI 3 that can test this (I don't have the cartridge, and I don't remember ever using '87 Detroit when I played the original version)?  I'm seeing a really weird glitch playing RBI 3 on a ROM.  I decided to go for some "classic" RBI action on RBI 3, so I played a game using '87 Minnesota against '87 Detroit.  My half-inning ended, and Trammel came up to bat.  He makes contact with the first pitch, and the screen goes wacky, with pretty much no way to tell where the ball went.  It's called foul.  Next pitch - same thing.  I threw a sinker to get him out, and the second batter was normal.  This happened the last time I tried playing '87 Detroit, too, and only when Trammel batted (that time, I played until he batted a second time, and it happened again, which prompted me to quit).

If anyone else could confirm this to let me know I'm not nuts, it would be appreciated.

That's a strange one Beef.  I think the best thing to do would be to try a different emulator.  Sounds like poor emulation, almost like a dirty cart...
