If anyone is interested and thinks they can get it to work on NES w/adapter?
I bought mine many years ago and have yet to pick up the adapter. From everything I read, it should work fine with the adapter...
Gantry, check out this site, if you have any of the old NES games, they may have an adapter inside them:

That tsr page was one of the first things I did. I opened up a few carts to no avail. Man some of those carts really seemed heavier...
My old roommate had a Super 8 converter to play Japanese titles. It allows Super Famicom, NES, and Famicom games to be played on a US SNES. He had a couple Super Famicom titles which played perfectly, but I've never owned a Famicom title, so no idea how well it works. Regular NES titles played fine, but seemed a bit fuzzy.
Oddly enough, the original manufacturer (Innovation) has "found" more Super 8's. Selling for the low low price of $89.95 from http://innovation1.com.

Sounds like a neat adaptec, but for less than $20 you can get a Famicom to NES converter. Shit it may be under $10, but too lazy to EBay...
