Title: port forwarding?
Post by: Suckerpunch on 11/02/08, 11:22:41 PM
I've been attempting to host a rbi game without luck.  I think it may have something to do with the warning about port forwarding.  Can anyone help with this?
Thanks!

you might want to make your ports a little more subtle.

You'll probably need to set it up on your router - the "Routers" section of that website is probably the place to start.

If your Windows is fully patched-up, you could just plug the computer into your cable or DSL modem - that's exposing you directly to the internet without a firewall, so a run of Windows Update is pretty much mandatory before doing that unless you don't mind having your system hacked.
