Stock is beating me, and we are drinking. Last game is his win in batting practice pitch.

Man, I did not know you two were that kinky. Pics?
I got my money on Stock btw...
I am 3-0 now against Defen.
I just beat him 15-5 (4 innings) with houston against SF.
In the 4-inning affair Ashby was 3-3 (HR, 2 Doubles, 4 RBIs). Lopes had 2HRs. Nolan Ryan; 2 hits.
I am supposed to mention that Defen was veeeeerrrrrryyyyy well on his way when he got here. Guy has a breathalizer on his key chain..... nice!
Glad to hear you two kids finally got together.

WOW.
Yeah, drunk. Good times. Stock and Mrs. Stock are good people.
One of this evening's games...son of a bitch whooped me with Houston.
I hope you didn't play BP style the whole time, because Stock played about 1023084738072038470238703287 games of that for the series on here. You didn't stand a chance...

Yup. Still fun, though...
Stock destroyed defen with Hou...in BP style! Impressive.
Apparently defen is not a good hitter...cause the Giants can do some damage with the right dudes in their.

I think the beer had something to do with it...
No damn excuses defen...that's not the sign of a winner.
You need discipline.
what exactly is batting practice style? straight pitch?
Think it's right down the middle, no moving on the mound or slowballs/fastballs

Yep
so in regular straight pitch you can move on the mound?
If our version is the regular version, then yes

In Gantry's version I believe any pitch is fair game so long as it is over the plate..... fastballs, knuckle balls, inside corner, outside corner, etc..
I am telling you right now that if were were playing anything goes that night, our first game would have been 1-0 in about 15 innings.
I have not played on a non-computer screen since dee-nee fest Chicago, and it took us forever to get the timing down. There also seemed to be a (ever so) slight lag on my TV. Not sure if it was because it was on a 65" TV or what. I could not pull a ball to save my life in the first few innings.
The first HR of the night came courtesy of Benito Santiago in the 3rd inning of the first game.
I have also noticed lag in Sperling's big HDTV, it was pretty much unplayable.
were they both rear-screen projection? just a thought...

They match. Really nice kids. I half expected Stock to throw me in a guillotine when I showed up.

The lag definitely was not unplayable, but it was to the point where I had to start my swing as the pitch was coming out of the pitcher's hand if there was any chance of pulling it.
I don't know how ATG could be possible with that much lag unless you were just completely guessing where/how fast the pitch was going to be before each pitch.
The lag on Sperlings was truly brutal, his was a DLP.

52'' rear projection...i think at that size, the extra 13'' would not make a difference as far as lag is concerned.

Your tv sucks.
So true.
I also have a 52" rear projection, I didn't notice lag when I busted it out, but I'll test it when I get back. Who knows.
Stock - you use a DLP? Maybe the LCDs are fine...

No, it is just a normal rear projection.
That is why my TV was like 1100 bucks vs about 4000 for the DLP.
