This is the first time I've been here, but I have noticed that nobody mentions that Chet Lemon and Dwight Evans hit much better with the bat cocked. (tapping A)
Your thoughts.
everytime i try the tettleton it ends up in a pop out... so i tend to stick with the traditional batting stance... others seem to like the tettleton though...for each his own.
the tettleton (or "knoblauch" as i call it) works. the problem is that you often pull it foul because you can get the bat through the zone so much faster.
i am considering trying to "knoblauch" 100% ofthe time for a few weeks to see what happens.
That would be a good experiment. I use the Tettleton/Knoblauch when I'm batting with powerful righties who are slumping. My biggest problem with it is that I get a lot of grounders to third...
do you guys really believe it works? I've tried it a few times, and I don't think it makes a difference, but maybe I just suck? What were the final results of that test anyway Big_Apple_RBI_Champ???
i never did it. i think it would completely throw off my timing. rbi is all timing and rhythm. maybe if i lose the tournament next week i will try it.
you are definitely losing next week
Ahhh, my first time here. Feels like yesterday.
Good times....memories....
I joined a month after this thread started and I think it was still on the first page.
