I download the ROM and the game from this thread and VirtualNES gives me this message when I play (this has happened every week so far):

"Because a recorded version is different, there can be the thing that cannot play back normally.  Do execute? [sic]"

Ignoring the terrible wording, this message should come up only when the ROM and WMV files are inconsistent, why is it appearing?

In any case the result I watched better be what happened.

Perfectly normal and I've seen it before last season and this season. Don't know why that happens and other times it doesn't, but the result you saw is what happened.

I'll try and get the boxscores/recaps tomorrow. I'm working on the stats here and there. Now that shit takes time, but I'm halfway done. I'm doing it here and there.

Ripken, I don't get that dude? He has a great contact-power ratio, but he takes major shits most of the time.

Then there's Ojeda. He pitched well for the Empire and Mexican Hermaphrodites, but he'll have some big innings.

You wanted strictly power buddy in the draft...

Ripken blows my mind as well.

I'll be fucking with my lineup again. . .. .

Sally Cunts overpower OC

SAN LUIS OBISPO  (AP) – Sbhrgn and Vlnzla got huge outs with runners in scoring position time after time which was clearly the deciding factor in the ball game.
Sbhrgn and Vlnzla combined to give up 3 runs on 13 hits while the Sally Cunts offense scored 15 runs as they easily beat the OC 15-3.

The Sally Cunts played excellent defense by turning two dp's and throwing two runners out at home from the outfield.

EDavis went 5-6 and hit for the cycle while Strwby smacked two triples and a double to knock in three runners.

The lineup change made before the game by MikeD helped his team get out of a funk.

"That was Sally Cunts baseball. " said a happy and relieved MikeD.

Rebel Alliance shocks Awesome Badasses for first victory

MADISON (AP) – Moltor displayed great leadership in sparking his team to a 15-11 upset victory over the previously undefeated Awesome Badasses (3-1). The veteran hit two doubles, one triple, and a homerun with 3 rbi's and crossing home 4 times.

The Alliance bullpen made quick work of the powerful and dangerous Badass line-up.
The Rebel Alliance (1-3) hit seven hr's as they out-homered the number one team in the league in homeruns, 7-2.

McDowl gave up one hit, no runs, and k'd one in the 8th. Then King came in and retired Pucket, Jones, and McGwir in order to end the game. King, who had a 67.16 era coming into the game, showed everybody how talented he can be.

Unholy Legions of Doom mercy rule Fighting Artichokes in six

SIOUX FALLS (AP) - Down 6-4 and coming off the bench to pinch hit, Heep hit his second pinch hit HR of the year to even the contest at 6-6. The momentum dramatically shifted as Guerro followed it up with a majestic shot to make it 7-6 and give the Unholy Legions of Doom the lead for good.

After a fury of hits off arguably the best pitcher in the game, the Unholy Legions scored 8 runs in the sixth inning to end the game via mercy rule 17-7.

GDavis homered twice and Schmidt drove in 4 while Reushl and Sutton did an effective job from the mound.

Both teams move to 2-2 and are tied for third place in the DoveRBI league.

ARKANSAS (AP) - DCincs drove in 7 and belted 3 HR's as the Fighting Cutlers exploded by the Pabst Blue Ribbons 22-9 in seven innings.

The Cutlers pitching worked good enough today with Hurst going all seven innings with a quality start and win.

Nokes went 6-6 and Baylor scored 5 runs and had 2 doubles, 1HR, and a single in an impressive effort with the stick.

DwEvans hit 3 HR's in a losing effort for the PBR's.

Empire stay unbeaten to overtake first place

DEE NEE (AP) - With great hitting and pitching, the Galactic Empire (4-0) remain undefeated in an impressive victory at TaB Park. The highly anticipated first place showdown with Chocolate Rain in the DoveRBI league did not offer much drama as the Empire dominated throughout the whole game.

J.Rice hit 3 HR's and 3 doubles and drove in 6 as he finished a perfect 6-6 at the plate. The bottom of the order went 12-23 with three doubles and two triples to help the Empire jump out to a 15-5 9th inning lead.

Morris and Cox looked sharp in their 3rd consecutive outing as they pitched out of a lot of jams. Morris and Cox gave up a combined 7 runs on 17 hits in 9 innings of work. The Empire pitching has yet to give up more than 10 runs this year.

The Empire are now alone in first place in the DoveRBI league while Chocolate Rain are in sole posession of second place at 3-1.

I was surprised that you guys did not pound Clemens. Your big sticks took a day off.

My team is looking good. My pitchers had a good day at the plate. Murphy is in some kind of slump, we need better at bats from him. In any case, I'm pleased so far at how we find ways to win.
And as the Force as my witness, I have not manipulated or redid any games and especially mine. Me being undefeated can look sketch, but I aint gonna make my team lose to make it look like I am not cheating. I put together a great team.

Anyways, I am updating the stats from week 4 and will post a thread with stats and standings...
