Games on back to back days. Awesome! Things should slow down once my season begins, but I'm taking advantage of the extra free time I got now.

Games are set to run on this marathon monday-tuesday.

Should have the zips out shortly here...

My team is ready to regroup and is out for blood, especially since Attez put the Artichokes together. I'll be seriously livid if I lose to his spunky players...and no Attez, no funny business will take place from this end. If I win, I win, if I lose, I lose. Either way, my team is built to win, yours...not so much.

Empire is back on track. Those fuckers responded after the OC loss and dismantled the Artichokes. This is how champions respond after defeats.

Morris was dealin. Looks like he was worth being taken so early in the draft. Darky=shrewd.

The awesome thing is that it was a blowout. How ya feeling Attez? Your team sucks, and TBT has to bear the burden....

Yeah, walkoff by Thrilla after making the game much more exciting on an 8 run OC 8th.

ROM on this one should be same as week 4 ROM, right?  Or were there changes?

No power whatsoever to speak of but tons of doubles.

Power can be overrated but it is still extremely valuable. Dudes with high power ratings and low contact ratings will disappear here and there, then make up for it in other games.

I like consistency with putting the ball in play and I value doubles higher than anything else. Keeps innings going and I like to slowly bleed teams. Also having good speed is a huge plus.
What really makes a difference is the first to third outs. Like when there is a slow runner on first, and then a double is hit into left field against the wall, the lf makes the throw to third, and the runner from first is out. I am going to go back maybe and count those stats and run it through some crunching to see what I can observe.

Baserunning and double plays does make a huge impact on whether you win or lose. Lack of team speed will kill you. I've seen enough games now to understand this.

Teams with overall low contact ratings but high power ratings are too inconsistent. But they can get hot, and when they do, it can be lights out in a hurry.

lol...you're a bitter man attez, and nice spin on your perception of this. Why would I cheat? I wanna see how it all turns out. I have a good team and don't need to cheat. I want to win this fair and square. No game has ever been cheated and no game will ever be cheated. It's that simple. If you don't believe me, then that's your choice. You're creating this scenario of me "cheating" from your twisted thoughts and deranged dome.

Just accept the fact that you had the worst Fantasy draft in the history of ever, and new doors will open for you.  :)

It's true, I accepted that and it turned my whole life around.

Got a promotion at work, won the lottery, and my penis is now 11 inches long: more inches than Attezz made good fantasy picks!

"Will the Thrill" delivers dramatic walk off shot

DEE NEE (AP) - Down 16-15 with McGwir on second base with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Thrill turned on a Worrel fastball and delivered a magnificent shot into the stands of 73,000 hysterical fans at Doc Ellis Magic Mushrooms Field.

The walk off shot was WClark's second long ball of the day. RJones added a grand slam and Dwning went a perfect 5-5 to help end the current two game skid of the Awesome Badasses.

Bedrsn blew the save, but picked up the win.

Both bullpens gave up a combined  14 runs in the 8th and 9th innings which contributed to an exciting finish.

The Awesome Badasses (4-2) (4-1) remain in first place in the Gantry League.
The OC  (2-4) (1-3) drop a spot to 4th place.

Both starting pitchers were really good that game... Tudor was pretty good in relief too (too bad we tried to squeeze and extra inning out of him) and Scotty K finally got beat down on, though with some questionable plays (fucking wallzies) but we're glad he did it on a day ouor offense showed up.

Downing heating up was key, and Jones continues to impress

Downing and Clark came out huge. Those guys played for me last year after and before some trades. They can have big days at times...

Kerfield has been shaky so far this year out of the pen. Worrel as well, and Grelts ran into some trouble today.

Sally Cunts win third straight

ARKANSAS (AP) - The Sally Cunt bullpen held off the Pabst Blue Ribbons to secure the victory 13-10 at Razorback Stadium.

Corbet and DSmith pitched out of some serious jams to give the Sally Cunts their second straight win over the Blue Ribbons in this three game series. The Blue Ribbons continue to waste great opportunities at the plate, and also grounded into a league leading 8th double play.

The Sally Cunts will go for the sweep on Thursday.

Strwbry (5-6) blasted a pair of shots and Mitchl (4-6) belted 2 doubles and a triple to lead the Sally Cunt offense.

The 3 game winning streak of the Sally Cunts moves them to (4-2) (4-1) and tied for first place in the Gantry League.

In a losing effort, DwEvans hit two HR's to give him 8 for the year and now leads the league in HR's. The Pabst Blue Ribbons are on a 4 game skid which has dropped them to 1-5 (1-4) and into last place.

Boxscores of the other two games coming within 3 hours. I need to take some cuts off the tee and do some sprints. After that, I'll score the games and recap them.

Week 7 to be played within the next two days. I'll sandwich my game in between the other games like I normally do to make a point for Attez. I run the games right after one another. I think you can see the times if you check the source profile after extracting the zip. Also Attez, feel free to run some scrimmage games on both roms and see how often my team usually wins. The Force is with us this year.

Also, trading begins week 8 and ends after week 12...final deadline tba.

11 run rally propel  Rebel Alliance for third straight win

SIOUX FALLS (AP) - After falling behind 6-1, the Rebel Alliance (3-3) (2-3) erupted for an 11 run 3rd inning. J.Bell doubled and homered in the inning and lead the Alliance offense with two HR's, two doubles, and 6 RBI.

With the score tied at 18 in the top of the seventh, J.Bell hit a two run bomb to give the Alliance a 20-18 lead. McDowl pitched a scoreless 8th, then King came in the ninth to try and earn the save.
After a HoJo double, a Baines FC, John Franco came up to the plate with two outs. Franco tripled and drove in Baines to make it a 20-19 ball game with Guerro coming up at the plate.
King got Guerro to ground out to end a wild game at Sioux Falls Park.

Mike Schimdt homered three times for the Unholy Legions (3-3) (2-3) and now leads the league with 10 HR's.

The two teams will face each other in week 7 in this home-away 2 game series. Both teams are tied for second place with Chocolate Rain in the DoveRBI League.

As shitty as the loss was, awesome work by John Franco with the 2-out RBI triple in the bottom of the ninth to make it a 1-run game - I'm pretty sure that was my team's first triple.

My offense finally comes alive, and the pitching goes to hell.

Fighting Cutlers rally past Chocolate Rain in six, win third straight

CHICAGO (AP) - Baylor and Hndrk combined to go for a perfect 9-9 with 4 homeruns and 9 RBI to spearhead the Cutlers to a 20-9 mercy rule win in six innings.

Baylor hit for the cycle and led a resurgent Fighting Cutlers over Chocolate Rain at a windy Soldier Field in a non-league match-up.

Krukow (1-2) picked up the win in relief and his first victory as well. Looking sharp, Krukow gave up only 1 run on three hits in two innings of work.

This marks the third straight victory for the Cutlers (3-3) (2-3) who now move into third place in the Gantry League.

Chocolate Rain (3-3) (3-2) dropped their third straight loss.
