Chocolate Rain went up 9-0 on the Empire. We fought back and took the lead, but the pitching took a shit today. This is unacceptable, the way we pitched. Also us not scoring any runs in the 7th and 8th angers me. We need better quality at-bats. We'll take things out again in the Artichokes next game...or else changes will be made.

Wow, what a game.  My team is still the most frustrating fielding team in the history of ever.  Sally Cunts- lots of doubles.

Did we win?  Lots of doubles = drafting speed paid off.

My god, that baserunning play in the top of the 5th where I managed to have the catcher run down TWO of my guys on one play was awful. Instead of second and third no outs, it was bases empty two outs.

And it's just like real life games against Brew-nasty.

Good games all around. Only one mercy rule game this week.

Week 8 should start on Friday. I really wanna pound Attez's team. We match up good with them.

Should be interesting to see how the Sally Cunts and Cutlers do in the next three non-league games.

You had some tough breaks that game Alec. DaEvns hitting three jacks helped the Artichokes. You caught the Artichokes on a tough day. They had some dudes step up.

But that baserunning play=momentum killer. Good game though.

The Sally Cunts game went extra innings...

Spillman finally contributed. I was surprised to see you guys take down the SC's ryno.

The Sally Cunts do have top notch team speed btw. Helps them hit a lot of triples.

Weird week it was. Any given Sunday...

is this the way it will typically go?

4 random games then a 3 game series?

The cunts do have speed. My lack of speed hurt me on some first-to-thirds.

I really do need a lead off type hitter --- someone with decent speed and a higher contact.

That's how the schedule came out when I did it. Doing the schedule=rubiks cube...

The Empire would  be set with another power hitter...

I ran a bunch of practice watchgames of the Badasses vs  Artichokes, Badasses win almost every time, but lost in week 7 when it was for real.
Once that record button is hit and the games are on, anything can happen.

Boxscores and recaps will be in tomorrow...then week 8. I'll run week 8 tomorrow night dee nee time...live!

I might do a game or two right now. Scoring a game=45 minutes roughly. I had life going on today, so could not get to them. But I did catch up with the stats through week 6.

Huge week coming up in week 8. Time for the cream to rise to the top...

Unholy Legions offense too much for Rebel Alliance

MADISON (AP) - The Unholy Legions of Doom outscored the Rebel Alliance 11-0 in the 5th and 6th innings to lay a mercy rule on the Alliance 20-9 in six innings.

After the pitching change in the 5th inning, the Unholy Legions unleashed a fury of hits off D.Alxndr while Reushl allowed one hit and no earned runs which proved to be the difference in the DoveRBI league contest.

M.Schmidt, G.Carter and A.Dawson combined to go 13-15, 11 runs scored, and 14 RBI's.

DaEvns leads Fighting Artichokes to victory

DEE NEE (AP)- DaEvns put the Artichokes on his back today. The natural pull hitter hit 3 HR's and drove in six runners to help the host Fighting Artichokes win a tight ball game 15-13.

The turning point in the game was in the top of the 5th inning when Wilfng and Brenly were tagged out together at third base. It ended a Badass rally and killed their momentum.

Not a stranger to tight ball games, the Awesome Badasses mounted a threat in the top of the 9th inning, but came up short when W.Clark lined out to end the game.

Doc Gooden picked up the win and is now 3-0 while Reardn barely picked up the save.

Chocolate Rain edge Galactic Empire in a shootout

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP)- The highest scoring game of the year featured 48 runs, 62 hits, and 15 HR's which came down to the wire.

Chocolate Rain poured heavily today in front of 93,000 devout fans at Imperial Center Stadium as they beat the Galactic Empire 25-23.

J.Clark hit 3 HR'S  and drove in six to spearhead the Chocolate Rain storm. Shrdan and Brookn each blasted a pair of shots as the Chocolate Rain pounded the number one team in pitching.

"I'm not happy about the loss, but I do like how we fought back in the first inning after being down 9-0" said manager Darkside.

OC pitching too much for Fighting Cutlers

CHICAGO (AP) - Sutclf blanked the hot Fighting Cutler offense in the last four innings to help the OC win a Gantry League game 17-11.
Sutclf allowed an impressive 6 hits and no earned runs while striking out one at Soldier Field.

With the OC win over the Cutlers, they now win the season series with their second victory over the Cutlers. The two teams will meet again for the last time in week 16.

Offensively, Garner and Boone homered twice and drove in 9. Reggie Jackson notched 6 hits and chipped in with a HR as well.

The OC now move into third place in the Gantry League while the Fighting Cutlers slide to fourth place.

Pabst Blue Ribbons earn victory over Sally Cunts and avoid sweep

ARKANSAS (AP) - The Pabst Blue Ribbons overcame a 16-9 deficit to pull out a narrow victory over the Sally Cunts 19-18 in extra innings.

The PBR's offense finally came through when it had to, and got great pitching down the stretch. An equation that manager Ryno would like to see more often.

The Sally Cunts got a game tying homerun by D.Strwby in the 9th inning to even the exciting ballgame up 18-18. The Cunts failed to score in the top half of the tenth, and left the door open for the Blue Ribbons to avoid the sweep at Razorback Stadium.

Gibson started off the 10th with a single followed by a Teufel single which resulted in a ambitious and over zealous Gibson being tagged out at third for the first out. Cansco then flied out to make it two outs.
Catcher Gedman came up and drilled a D.Smith forkball into the gap to score in Teufel from 1st base to end the game to a roaring crowd of 83,000 at Razorback Stadium.
