CUNTED!!!

good game.  i knew two runs going into the ninth wouldn't be enough.   you relief pitching came through very well (smith, corbett).  we just couldn't turn our lineup over beginning in the 7th and you guys effectively shut us down.

Fighting Artichokes mercy rule Cutlers in 7

FORT DODGE (AP) - J.Lindmn hit a pair of shots and drove in 5 runners while MScott and Doc Gooden had sharp outings as the Fighting Artichokes took advantage of 3 Cutler errors to win the non league game 14-4 in seven innings.

The Fighting Cutlers committed 3 throwing errors in the game which resulted in 6 unearned runs for the Artichokes. By safe estimates, the Cutlers are leading the league in errors.

Doc Gooden pitched 3 scoreless innings to lower his ERA to 11.22 and good for third overall in the FRBI League. MScott pitched effectively in his start and only allowed 4 runs in his 4 innings of crisp work.

JLindmn led the Artichoke offense by going 4-5 at the plate with a pair of shots and 5 RBI.

The Artichokes are now in third place and a game ahead of the Chocolate Rain for the final playoff spot with 4 games remaining in the season.

Records - Fighting Artichokes (9-9, 3-8), Fighting Cutlers (8-10, 4-7)

Unholy Legions mercy rule Rebel Alliance to win 5th straight

MADISON (AP) - 'The Hawk' A.Dawson struck the Alliance with 2 HR's, 2 2B's, and 4 RBI as the Unholy Legions of Doom had an easy time mercy ruling the Alliance 16-6 in 5 innings.

Mike Schmidt hit his 18 HR and HoJo went 3-4 with a HR and 4 RBI's to help contribute to the pounding of the Alliance. Dawson's pair of awe inspiring shots pushes his year total to 19 HR's and now leads the league in RBI's at 54.

The Unholy Legions remain 2 games back of the first place Galactic Empire with 4 games to go and in sole possession of second place in the DoveRBI League by 2 games.

Galactic Empire quickly dismantle Chocolate Rain, win 3rd straight

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP)- A.Tramml jump started the Empire offense as he led off every inning with a hit (2B, 2B, HR) as the Empire quickly dismantled the Chocolate Rain 11-1 in three innings in the DoveRBI Division match-up at Imperial Center Stadium.

JaMorris moves to 6-1 and pitched 3 superb innings to a dangerous Chocolate Rain offense and now leads the FRBI League in ERA at 9.96.
Donny Baseball hit two doubles to give him a league leading 28 for the year.

The Chocolate Rain drop a game back of the Fighting Artichokes for 3rd place and the last playoff spot with 4 games left to play.
The Galactic Empire remain in first place by two games over the Unholy Legions and have the best record in the FRBI League.

Records - Galactic Empire (13-5, 9-2), Chocolate Rain (8-10, 5-7)

Wally delivers game winning triple to cap Sally Cunt comeback

BOSTON (AP) - Down 17-15 with one out in the bottom of the 9th, D.Strwby lined a HR which shook up Grelts. The next batter Madlck doubled and he scored on a Mitchl single which set the stage for Wally Joyner. Joyner went the other way off Grelts and drove in Mitchl from first base with a game winning triple to cap the ninth inning comeback and win the Gantry Division match-up 18-17.

Madlck went 5-6 with 4 RBI's and Strwby went 4-6 with a pair of shots to lead the Sally Cunt offensive assault.

The Cunts remain in 1st place by two games over the BadAsses while the OC maintain their 3rd place standing and remain technically two games ahead of the Fighting Cutlers for the last playoff spot.

McGwire has career night

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Mark McGwire just about single handedly beat the Pabst Blue Ribbons 12-8 by displaying his extraordinary power at the plate.
The gargantuan slugger, who has the highest at bats per home run ratio in baseball history, hammered 4 HR's using all fields in doing so and driving in 8 runners. He also hit a 2 run RBI as well to go along with his magical evening.

With the score even at 8 in the bottom of the sixth inning, McGwir delivered a 2 run double which put the BadAsses ahead for good 10-8. McGwir added a 2 run oppo shot in the bottom of the 8th inning to secure the lead which was more than enough for the BadAss bullpen.

J.Tudor picked up the win in his 3 innings of impressive work and improves to 4-3. The lefty allowed only 1 ER on 4 hits and struck out one in his long relief appearance.

The BadAsses move into second place two games back of the Sally Cunts for first and technically 2 games ahead of the OC for second place.

The Blue Ribbons, who have struggled all year in all phases of the game, are on track to have the worst winning percentage in FRBI history...though they do put up a good fight.

Records - Awesome BadAsses (10-8, 8-3), Pabst Blue Ribbons (4-14, 3-9)
