hahahahahahahah!

Funniest shit all season right there.

What the hell happened on Pedriq's "hit" in the 4th inning or so?  It looked like a routine fly to LF. . . no bop, but the ball rolled to the wall.

I can't believe that. That was a tough pill to swallow...getting swept by your up and down team this year. Good game though and your bullpen clutched up. I'm pleased with our effort, but it was not good enough.

I still clinched the division with the Unholy Legions loss...and that was a crazy game.

Recaps and boxscores to come later today. Have not had time to do them. I doubt I'll load the youtube games this week.

Looks like Gantry's going down to the wire...

Too bad my entire team likes to choke. On penises.

The Rebel Alliance's playoff hopes are still alive. Crazy. OC-FC-AB all have the same record right now. The Cutlers need to win the last two of their games and can't afford to be tied to either the OC or AB at the end of the season for a playoff spot. It's still wide open with 2 weeks to go in the Gantry division.

Okay, I just may start doing the boxscores now. Sorry for the delay and all, but I've been really busy dealing with some things this week. Week 21 will start either tomorrow or Friday, so no stressing on month delays or anything. The season is coming down to the wire for a lot of teams.

Blue Ribbons shock Unholy Legions of Doom

ARKANSAS (AP) - L.Dykstra came off the bench to hit the game winning home run in the bottom of the 8th inning and D.Righti allowed no runs in the ninth in an improbable upset win for the Pabst Blue Ribbons. The win snaps the 6 game winning streak of the Unholy Legions as well as snapping the 4 game skid by the Blue Ribbons.

With the score even at 14 with two outs in the bottom of the 8th inning, Dykstra replaced Gagne and drilled a shot to put his team up for good 15-14.
The Unholy Legions threatened in the top of the ninth inning as they put runners on the corners with two outs and with A.Dawson batting. However, D.Righti got Dawson to pop out to end the ball game.

Oddly enough, L.Dykstra now has two game winning HR's off the Unholy Legions this year. His first was a walk off when he was with the Empire.

The Pabst Blue Ribbons, who are ninth in pitching, managed to contain the league's number one explosive offense.

Canseco went 4-4 with 4 rbi's and a HR, Puhl in his first start ever in the fantasy league hit a 2B and a 3B and notched 3 rbi's while Buckner hit a grand slam to lead the Blue Ribbon offense.

The loss by the Unholy Legions clinched the DoveRBI division title for the Galactic Empire.

Records - Pabst Blue Ribbons (5-15, 3-9), Unholy Legions of Doom ( 12-8, 7-4)

Sally Cunts cruise, clinch Gantry Division title

BOSTON (AP) - The Sally Cunts jumped out to a 11-2 lead and were in full control as they cruised past the Awesome BadAsses 16-10 and clinched the Gantry Division.

Sbrhgn went the distance and had an impressive outing as he only allowed 2 runs through the first 5 innings.

K.Mitchl had a huge night. The slugger went 4-5, blasted three HR's and drove in 6 runners to lead the Sally Cunt offense. D.Lopes hit two 3B's to raise his league leading total to 12 Triples.

The Awesome BadAsses now find themselves in a three-way tie for second place with the OC and Fighting Cutlers, but hold the tiebreaker over both teams.

Records - Sally Cunts (14-6, 8-4), Awesome BadAsses (10-10, 8-4)

OC sleepwalks, then wake up for thrilling comeback victory

PISMO BEACH (AP) - Down 13-4 going into the bottom of the 7th inning, the morning fog cleared up at Central Coast Stadium. Fittingly so, the OC offense woke up and went on a 12-1 run in final three innings to earn a comeback victory over Chocolate Rain.

The Chocolate Rain jumped out to a 10-1 lead by the second inning and had a 13-4 lead going into the bottom of the 7th inning behind a great pitching effort by NRyan.  The OC scored 3 runs in the 7th to cut the deficit to 13-7 going into the 8th inning. Worrel pitched a scoreless inning and the OC erupted for 9 runs on 10 hits in the bottom of the 8th. The OC bench played a key role as they went 3-4 in the inning and igniting the sleepwalking OC team.

G.Gaetti hit a pair of shots and drove in 5 runners to lead the offense and the OC pitching shut down the Chocolate Rain as they only allowed 2 runs in the final 5 innings. Worrel and Grelts allowed no runs out of the bullpen as the Chocolate Rain hurt their playoff chances.

C.Lemon hit a pair of shots to raise his league leading total to 25 Hr's for the year.

The Chocolate Rain's playoff hopes still remain alive as they are only one game back of the Fighting Artichokes.

With the win, the OC technically are in third place and control their own destiny for a playoff spot.

Records - OC of the Central Coast (10-10, 6-6), Chocolate Rain (8-12, 5-7)

Cutler bullpen provides key support for victory

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - The Cutlers kept their playoff hopes alive by coming back to win in the last two innings and got impressive lights out pitching from their bullpen.

Down 18-13 in the top of the 8th, the Cutlers scored 5 runs to even up the score. With the score even at 18 in the top of the 9th, DCincs hit a solo shot to give the Cutlers a one run lead going into the last half of the ninth. From there J.Brngr retired the side in order to pick up the crucial win.

Dayley and Brngr pitched flawless in relief as they combined to only allow 1 hit and no earned runs in the final two innings.

The Empire uncharacteristically committed 2 errors which led to 3 unearned runs which came back to haunt the Empire in the end.

T.Raines was the sparkplug all day for the Cutler offense. The speedster went 5-6, crossed home plate 5 times, knocked in 3 runners, and swiped 3 bags to give him a league leading 12 for the year.

The Cutlers playoff hopes are alive and well with their second straight victory. Technically in 4th place in the Gantry Division, the Cutlers will need at least one more win and some help in the final two games to move on.

Despite the loss, the Empire clinched the DoveRBI Division earlier in the day with the Unholy Legions upset loss to the Blue Ribbons.

Records - Fighting Cutlers (10-10, 3-8), Galactic Empire (14-6, 9-2)

Rebel Alliance sneak back into playoff hunt

MADISON (AP) - The Rebel Alliance got key hits and great pitching to overcome an early 11-3 deficit and surge past the Fighting Artichokes 18-15 at Madison Park.

P.Molitor and J.Bell each hit a HR and drove in 4 runners while the suddenly resurgent C.Mldndo hit a pair of shots to lead the Alliance attack to victory. The Alliance tagged Gooden for 8 runs in his 3 innings of long relief work as they overcame a 11-7 deficit against one of the premier pitchers in the league.

R.Clemens allowed only 1 run in his impressive long relief work and the Alliance bullpen held off the Artichokes in the last two innings to preserve the victory and to help the Alliance jump back into the playoff picture in the DoveRBI Division.

With two games remaining, the Rebel Alliance is one game behind the Artichokes for the final playoff spot and evened up in the standings with Chocolate Rain. The Rebel Alliance hold the tiebreaker over both teams. The Alliance will need to win at least one game and get some help if they hope to move on to the dance.

Records - Rebel Alliance (8-12, 5-7), Fighting Artichokes(9-11, 4-8)
