Title: FRBI V League Championship Series
Post by: Darky on 06/20/09, 01:26:21 PM
Game one of the Gantry/Dove LCS will begin on June 29th, next Monday.

The Sallly Cunts have the option advantage of choosing home or visitor field advantage.

The Galactic Empire has elected the visitor field advantage against the Fighting Artichokes.

Morris will be my Game 1 starter. Please post in this thread your game 1 starters and lineups if they are any changes.

Sorry for the long wait, but that the is the best I can do. I have a major tournament in Prague starting Monday with the national team. I'll be gone for one week.

Empire's offense too much for Artichokes

FORT DODGE (AP) - With game one of the DoveRBI contest even at 13 in the top of the seventh, the Galactic Empire shifted into another gear and outscored the Artichokes 14-1 in the last three innings to take game one 27-14 at Fort Dodge Park.

A.Tramml hit 3 home runs, D.Mtngly and D.Murphy each hit a pair of shots and drove in 6 runners apiece. Rice went 7-7 and all the position players in the line-up had 3 or more hits as the Empire chose a perfect day to have their best offensive output of the year in hits and home runs.
The Empire pounded the Artichoke pitchers for 27 runs on 38 hits and 9 home runs.

D.Cox allowed only 4 runs on 8 hits in 5 innings of impressive work and picked up the win as he silenced the Artichokes in the last two innings. Both starting pitchers for both teams struggled.
Gooden and Morris were both hammered to the surprise of many experts who had predicted a low scoring affair by the top two pitching staffs in the league.

Galactic Empire lead the series 1-0

Sally Cunts rout Fighting Cutlers in seven to take game one

BOSTON (AP) - On a cloudy and damp day at Bill Belichick Stadium, the Sally Cunts shined bright in blowing out the Fighting Cutlers 21-10 in seven innings.

K.Mitchl blasted 3 shots while D.Strwby and C.Ripken each belted a pair of home runs as they combined for 14 RBI's to lead the Sally Cunt assault.

After a shaky second inning, Nando settled down and allowed no more runs while Sbrhgn contained the dangerous Cutler offense.

The difference turned out to be in the 6th inning when the Cutlers tightened the ball game up 10-11, but the Cunts responded with 4 blasts and 7 runs to recapture the momentum. The Cutlers did not score in the 7th inning and T.Laudner blasted a two-run-shot to end the game 21-11 via mercy rule.

The two teams will square off again tonight at Bill Belichick Stadium with Sbrhgn and Krukow taking the bump.

Sally Cunts lead the series 1-0

Title: Re: FRBI V League Championship Series

That was probably one of the worst fielded games on both sides I've seen.  How many times did we throw the ball away?  4- leading to 3 or 4 runs?  Awful.  The FC's are probably the closest comparison to the Sally Cunts.  I think the Cunts have a little more power, whereas the FCs have better relievers.  It's fitting we meet in the LCS.
Title: Re: FRBI V League Championship Series
Post by: Darky on 07/02/09, 09:03:38 AM
Yeah, I think there were 8 total errors in that game. Unbelievable.

The Cunts have the best power from 1-9 imo. Herr vs Ripken is a big difference. I think Ryno should get the trophy should the Cunts win it or the Empire. Ripken was the best 8 hole hitter in regards to power.

I just scored my game and it'll go up shortly. Gibson had a despicable day at the plate and O.Smith killed us. We had too many breaks go against us while the Artichokes played the game of their lives. I don't see that happening again. Our team is much better than the Artichokes and we need to play like it. I think we thought we can just go out there and not work for it. There was a players team meeting today, so I'm more than certain those fucks are going to come out and play some Empire style heads up ball.

I don't see the Cutlers coming back, but those fuckers are streaky. They live and die by the sword.

Yeah, Ripken surprised me this year. He must like it in Boston. Ozzie either gets 2 or more hits or nothing...just pop ups. Never anything in between.

Artichokes 5 run seventh proves to be the difference

FORT DODGE (AP) - Down 9-7 in the bottom of the 7th inning, the Artichokes showed their fight and scored 5 runs off the strength of home runs by Lmbrdz and C.Davis. The Artichokes added another run when relief pitcher Hrndez hit a roller down the LF line for a triple scoring Lmbrdz from 1st base with two outs. The Artichoke bullpen put the clamps on the productive Empire line-up and allowed only 1 run as they held on to beat the Empire 13-10.

The Empire hit into 3 double plays at crucial times. Every threat mounted by the Empire was answered by the Artichokes and their resiliency.

D.Evans hit a pair of home runs and C.Davis hit a three run shot in the 7th inning to break a 9-9 tie. Lmbrdz lead the Artichokes with 4 RBI's and homered as well. The Artichokes got the key hits at the right moments in a typical DoveRBI low scoring contest.

Series tied at 1

Sally Cunts come back and hold on to take game 2

BOSTON (AP) - T.Laudner hit a bases loaded double to give the Cunts a 16-15 lead and C.Ripken then hit a single put runners at the corners which set the stage for M.Wilson's pinch hit 3 run shot in the seventh inning as the home team never looked back as they held on to win game two 21-18.

T.Laudner went 6-6 with 3 RBI's, C.Ripken went 4-6 with 2 doubles and B.Madlck hit a pair of shots as they led the offensive output for the Sally Cunts.

Despite committing 4 errors, the Cunts managed to overcome that with clutch pitching. The Cutlers committed 2 costly errors which led to big innings.

Corbett pitched a flawless 9th inning to slam the door on the Cutlers.

Sally Cunts lead the series 2-0

Piss!  Brutal 4 inning start on offense for the Artichokes.

The Mike Scott 3 run in the park homer to tie the game followed up with marty barrett going yard(PH) the next inning sums that fkn game up.
Title: Re: FRBI V League Championship Series
Post by: Darky on 07/02/09, 08:37:06 PM
That M.Scott inside-the-parker made me livid.

Barret clutched up and I had a hunch about him today, that's why I moved him into the number one pinch hitter spot. Uribe was the hero with his clutch two out pinch hit in the 8th.

I think Barret will start in game 4. He did some great things for the Empire during the regular season. O.Smith is in a slump and has had no productive at bats. That fucker needs to put the ball on the ground.

Gooden got shook up a bit there...wow! You guys came back and showed heart. I was hoping for a mercy rule. I don't like tight ball games like that. You guys pretty much held us in check after the second inning. Your team is a pesky bunch...you should be proud of your squad for hanging with a powerful program and arguable the best team in the FRBI league...bar none.

The other game was a good one that ended in a walk off...

José Uribe comes off the bench and out of the grave to deliver the game-winning-hit

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - With two outs and the momentum on the side of the Artichokes with the score tied up at 13, J.Uribe came off the bench and out of the grave and delivered a clutch 2-run double to give the Empire a 15-13 lead in the bottom on the 8th inning. From there, Schrld took over and picked up the save in the 9th as he allowed no runs.

The Empire jumped out to a 9-2 lead and hammered Doc Gooden. However, the Artichokes did not give up that easy as they chipped away from the deficit and tied the ball game up at 12 in the top of the 7th when M.Scott hit a 3-run inside-the-park home run to cap a 6 run inning. But that would be as close as they would get at Coruscant Stadium. The Empire's bullpen held the Artichokes in check to the delight of 93,000 + loyal fans at Imperial Center.

D.Murphy hit a pair of shots and drove in 5 runners, J.Rice went 4-4, and M.Barret who lost his starting job to O.Smith during the season, hit a pinch hit HR to lead the Empire offense.

"Losing is not an option at this stage in the playoffs. The Force was with us today" said manager Darkside.

Galactic Empire lead the series 2-1

Hendrk caps Cutler comeback with dramatic walkoff home run

CHICAGO (AP) - Down 16-13 going into the bottom of the 9th inning, the Fighting Cutlers rallied back as Hendrk capped the last inning dramatic comeback with a walk off home run that sent the 68,000 wild fans at Soldier Field into a crazed delirium.

K.Herndz hit a pair of HR's and had 5 RBI's, D.Baylor went 5-6, and T.Raines notched 3 hits and 3 RBI's to lead the Cutler offense.

Cutlers even up the series with great pitching and just enough hitting

CHICAGO (AP) - M.Krukow and B.Hurst were both sharp, the bullpen did not allow the Cunts to threaten, and T.Herr, M.Nokes, and D.Baylor all homered to provide enough offense for the Cutlers to take game four 11-8 and even up the Gantry LCS 2-2.

The Fighting Cutlers were able to get to Saberhagen as they jumped out to a 9-3 lead after 4 innings. The Cutlers added two more in the 7th to increase their lead 11-3. In typical fashion, the Sally Cunts staged a comeback and chipped away at the lead. However,  their comeback did not have their usual explosion of runs as they came up short. Credit J.Brngr and D.Baylor for making sure there would be no Sally Cunt comeback.

D.Baylor made an amazing diving catch in the top of the 8th inning to end a Sally Cunt rally and threat. With a runner on and the meat of the line-up waiting for their chance, D.Strwby hit a curling line drive towards the fence and all 68,000 fans at Soldier Field held their breath as D.Baylor snow-coned the catch for the out leading to an eruption of the wild fans at Soldier Field.

M.Nokes hit a pair of shots, D.Baylor hit a 3 run bomb, and T.Herr hit a rare home run as they led the Cutler offense while each driving 3 runners.

Tonight will be the final game of the year at Soldier Field as the series will move back to Boston for game six.

Series tied at 2

Empire one win away from a return trip to the FRBI World Series

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - With two outs and the score tied up at 14 in the bottom of the 8th inning, manager Darkside went to his bench for some magic. J.Uribe hit a pinch hit single to load the bases, and Curt Ford hit a clutch two run double off the fence to put the Empire up 16-14. The Empire added 3 more runs and C.Schrld limited the Artichokes and picked up the win as the Empire took game 4 of the DoveRBI LCS 19-16.

The Empire jumped out to a 12-6 lead by the 3rd inning, but the Artichokes did not surrender as they chipped away at the lead and tied up the ball game 14-14 in the top of the 8th inning. With the score tied up at 14 in the top of the 8th inning and the bases loaded, Ju.Franco came up to the plate with destiny in his hands. However, J.Orosco got him to pop up to end the threat.

From there, the Empire once again responded and demonstrated their will to win as they pulled away from the Artichokes for the second consecutive game.

The Galactic Empire are now on the brink of their second consecutive World Series appearance and look to win it this time around. "It is our destiny" said manager Darkside.

Ja.Morris will take the bump against Doc Gooden tonight as the Empire would love to clinch the series at home.

Galactic Empire lead the series 3-1

Press Release

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - M.Barret shall start in place of O.Smith for game 5 tonight. O.Smith is 1 for his last 12 and we feel the pitcher to hitter match-up does not favor him. M.Barret has done some great things for the Empire this season while he started and his good attitude on the bench and zest for the game during practice has only made it easier for us to make this decision.

Our program places a high premium on results. Ozzie has not gave us results. He understands this and his profesionalism in supporting M.Barret demonstrates the unity that is prevalent within the Galactic Empire.

The Fighting Artichokes shall meet their fatal destiny tonight. The Force is strong in us.

lol...the files match the time on my computer on youtube idiot. I've never started a game around 1:12 and then it somehow ends an hour later. I stated a long time ago how you can check the source files to match up with the youtube times you moron.

Print screen it and show me. That's impossible. A game usually takes 10 minutes.

You realize that when you download the files you can see when they're created, right? Always fun so see that one game ends around 1:12 and then your game somehow ends around 1:54.

I just haven't said anything cause I didn't really fucking care much.

But, well, there ya go.

Oh, if that's during the regular season, then allow me to clear that up. My game was always last on the slate of games. The first game was run and all the games were immediately followed. If you check the source files, you will see that there was maybe a 2-3 minute gap in between games. Clearly not enough time to restart games and manipulate. Games take 10 minutes idiot. There is no way on earth you can prove any wrong doing. It simply did not happen, and if you think your team was better than mine, than you are crazy.

Empire rout Artichokes, clinch DoveRBI LCS and will make second consecutive World Series appearance

IMPERIAL CENTER (AP) - The Galactic Empire quickly jumped out to a 9-2 lead after two innings and never looked back as they mercy ruled the Fighting Artichokes 19-8 at home in front of their loyal fans and won the DoveRBI LCS 4 games to 1.
The Empire's offense and pitching finally clicked together as they showcased all their weapons and demonstrated why they had the best record in the FRBI League this season.

M.Heath hit a pair of shots and notched 5 RBI's. J.Rice went 5-5, A. Trammel hit a pair of shots, scored 4 runs, and was 4-5 at the plate. And in an interesting twist, M.Barret went 3-5 with a triple, 3 RBI's, and hit a walk-off mercy rule shot to end the game and series. M.Barret was inserted into the line-up just before game 5, and showed why he was more than capable of deserving a start. Barret hit his first home run of the year, not a bad time to do so.

"Four more to go" said manager Darkside who has guided the Empire to his second consecutive WS appearance in his first two seasons in the FRBI League. The Empire lost to GDavis last season.

A.Trammel and J.Rice were named co-MVP's.

A.Trammel - .655 (19-29), 6 HR's, 4 2B's, 2 3B's, 12 RBI's, 17 Runs
J.Rice - .892 (25-28), 3 HR's, 9 2B's, 1 3B, 10 RBI's, 15 Runs

Empire win DoveRBI LCS 4 games to 1

Laudner's gargantuan day lifts the Sally Cunts to victory

CHICAGO (AP) - T.Laudner hit a grand slam with two outs in the top of the 9th inning to give the Sally Cunts a 17-11 lead and the Cunts held on to win game five of the Gantry LCS 17-12 putting them one win shy of a date with the Galactic Empire in FRBI V World Series.

T.Laudner carried the Cunts by belting 3 towering shots and driving in an LCS record 9 runners. K.Mitchel and W.Joyner both went 5-6 and the Sally Cunt pinch hitters went 3-3 to help lead the offense.

B.Saberhagen pitched 3 sharp scoreless innings in relief to hold down the Cutler offense. The Cutler offense failed once again to pull away when they had the lead and multiple chances.

D.Smith picked up the win with his great outing in 2 innings of relief.

The series will move back to Boston tonight for game 6.

Sally Cunts lead series 3-2

I screwed up the boxscore. Technical mistake. Too lazy to fix it right now, give me a few. You would know he pitched if you actually watched your team play on youtube...

Sally Cunts come on strong late, pull away from Cutlers and win the Gantry LCS

BOSTON (AP) - Down 10-8 in the bottom of the 7th inning, the Cunts went on a 11-0 run in the next two innings to pull away from the visiting Cutlers to win game six 19-10.

The Cutlers once again failed to finish off the Cunts when they had their chances. However, much credit goes to the Cunt's relief pitching who shined brightly during the series. The Cutlers failed to register a run after the sixth inning.

B.Madlck belted three home runs and E.Davis added a pair of shots. Both sluggers drove in 6 runners a piece. E.Davis hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Cunts a 17-10 comfortable leads.

Vlnzla only allowed 2 earned runs in long relief and D.Smith pitched brilliantly as he allowed no runs and no hits in his two innings of impressive work.

In a much anticipated match-up, The Sally Cunts will now face the Galactic Empire in the FRBI V World Series. The two teams split during the regular season and both had the best record in their respective leagues. The two teams have seemingly been on a collision course all year and many experts predicted these two programs would meet to decide who is best.

T.Laudner was named MVP of the Gantry LCS. The catcher hit .687 (22-32), hit 11 doubles, 4 HR's, crossed the plate 17 times, and drove in 16 runners. His epic performance in game 5 was the difference as he tilted the series back in favor of the Cunts with his grand slam.

Sally Cunts win the series 4-2

When the world series start and will there be another season in the coming months.

If so will we be keeping any players or starting the roster from scratch?

The World Series will start Sunday night. I'm heading out tomorrow to the city where I play baseball and won't be back till Sunday. A thread will be started later today.

Season VI may start in August sometime. Everybody starts from scratch. There will be a draft and so on....

The only thing that worries me about getting the next season going is that it will coincide with football season. I spend a lot of hours with the NFL for pleasure and wagering purposes. Doing a week in the FRBI season means a lot of hours with the games, boxscores, recaps, and stats.

We'll see. Next season will either be in August or right after the NFL season.
