13eowulf?

all metrodome team:

1. tom kelly's FACE! (ok, just his smoke colored glasses)
2. the plexiglass in LF
3. the cheating A/C
4. homer hankies
5. the crappy baseball colored roof with baseball shaped holes in it to let light through
6. the PA turned up WAY TOO LOUD
7. my tickets HHH metrodome ticket office lost
8. the horrible turf and then field turf later
9. the terrible light placement mainly for football that renders outfielders blind
10. the crappy seating that is about 6 feet off the level of the field and way too slanty and crowded

Two things:

Is the all metrodome team playing softball? Not sure they need a fourth outfielder there.

B: Why'd you forget "being shot out of the dome because you refuse to go through the revolving doors even though the non-revolving doors are taped off"

6. the PA turned up WAY TOO LOUD

You forgot to mention that fact that the PA system is also of terrible quality, so you can't understand virtually anything except most players' names (at least in the instances in which Bob Casey, the old PA guy, pronounced them correctly).

I don't think I've ever left the Dome through the revolving doors - being blown out the doors is an expected part of the experience.

The last time I didnt leave early, they made everyone go through the revolving doors and it took me about a 1/2 hour after the game to actually make it out the door because 30,000 fans all have to be filtered through about 3 doors.

I know i was there on labor day of 03 and it was the old PA guy there. i remember it sounded like he was saying "HOLY CRAP! MIKAL CUD-DIIIIIERRR"

i can only imagine he was saying "COMING TO BAT......."

I think he usually said "Now batting", although I like "HOLY CRAP!" better.

Despite the horrible PA system, I still loved Bob Casey's voice.  He died a few years ago, but we were at the Dome for the 20th Anniversary celebration of the '87 team (I started a thread about it here), and they brought in his son to do all the introductions - he sounded EXACTLY like his dad, to the point where if I hadn't been informed of it in the pregame introductions, I'd have thought they were either playing a recording (for the first year after Bob died, they played recordings of his intros for players who were with the Twins before his death) or had figured out the secret of reincarnation.
