Mr. Velenzuela (Sr.) was drafted by a Fall Mexican League team, and he is not denying that he will pitch for them, he seems to be considering it. When I have time I'll search for the link and post.

This article makes it sound like it is going to happen, and he will pitch.
The league is said to be AAA rated, I assume that means it is comparable to AAA.
