It's getting kind of lame.

How else is one supposed to get attention?

Some threads need a break imo...

when used correctly and sparingly, it can be funny at times.

Obviously this is not the case with Darky, who locks more threads than anyone but this is to be expected. Should we also ban people from posting pics and screen shots just because he sucks at it?

I don't like the general tone of not agreeing with me 100%, here.

Unlocked until I decide to mindlessly lock again for no reason.

But what's the point of having a thread locked?  Nobody else does it
Title: Re: Locking threads
Post by: Nacho on 12/13/09, 02:23:57 PM
The only point is if things get heated, and in such situations Gantry is a far better judge than anyone else.  Otherwise, it's just the person trying to get attention.

Not as long as it took you to figure out how to use quotes apparently.

Ha! Such a sensitive cunt you have at times. Man, the winter must be getting to your eggshell head. Your opinion is just that, a stupid opinion that is incorrect. Care to unpack your theory a bit deeper than just making some sweeping statement? Back up your subjective and stupid opinion please, and stop campaigning and rallying support. You don't run dee nee dude. Unbelievable how a thread being locked gets you off center...then you bitch about the person trying to get attention, and yet---you have this thread and post. Nice campaign you got going there.

The locking option is available and free to use last I checked. I lock my threads for no reason at times because I like the power and it humors me.  They are my threads, not yours or dee nee's. Don't see how it can make you so cunty or how I'm trying to draw attention by locking my thread. I have enough attention as it is. Seriously, you must be a huge pussy in life.

But thats the problem.  They are dee-nee's threads.  Just because you start a thread doesn't mean you own it.  How many times does one person start a thread only to have the topic changed and maybe veer off into more interesting territory.  Just because you started s thread shouldn't give you the power to stop anyone else from posting in it.

This is just another example of you thinking the world and dee-nee should revolve around you.  And its getting tired. So tired.

Did I mention your name?  Or are you assuming that I'm referring to you because you acknowledge that you are the only one here who is trying to get attention?

Sometimes I post threads without thinking and will lock them.  I don't feel the need to leave it open and watch people call me an asshole for starting a stupid thread.

I'm kinda surprised that this one hasn't been moved to P&R yet.  Gantry must be in a coma after the Bears lost yet another game...

Maybe he should also let us needlessly move threads back and forth between Anything Goes and P & R...

Still easier for me to find the thread than it is for Cutler to find his receivers  :o

This thread came right after I locked/unlocked the Tiger Woods thread. Don't play stupid, I'm tuned in you know. Nice deflection try. Gosh, you think you're that clever?

And Shooty, I'm free to lock and unlock threads at my discretion because they are mine. True, Gantry and Nightwulf have the final say, but the lock option is available and free to use. You don't like it---so what...that's how it is. Live with it and worry about other things.
It's an example of me using my dee nee freedom that I have, not how dee nee should revolve around me...apparently you guys like to make that happen with you incessant whining. Control freaks, the lot of you. Crazy what pussies you guys can be.
