for those of you who play curve, what team do you think is the easiest (and which most difficult) to no-hit?? This really is a different question than which team is best/worst, because some teams (ie: Houston) have guys that may be out infield singles...
No way...that is a super simple question--the easiest team to no hit, by far, is Houston. :-\
Agreed 100%. Houston is the worst hitting team in the game. They have 2-3 offensive threats at worst, one or two of which I intentionally walk if nobody is on.
As for the hardest team to pitch against... I'd have to say either California or Boston. Even though my favorite hitting team is Detroit, those two teams just have a stacked line-up which is hard to consistently strike out.

see i wouldnt ever say houston is difficult to pitch against, i mean you really don't have a reason to give up a run... but I'd say Lopes is a really tough out, and i find the Mets to be the easiest... I mean anyone with power on that team is heinously slow, and the guys with speed just can't hit... then there is Straw, who is literally the one guy in that lineup that you must concern yourself with every at-bat... on the flip side, although they are nowhere near a top offensive team, no-hitting the cardinals is very difficult, due to a lot of speed on the basepaths... Vince, Ozzie, Herr and Willie all move pretty well, and are lefties, lending themselves to that slow roller off the end of the bat to the SS, who has no play...
The answer is St. Louis, because Houston has the best pitchers and you can't pitch Houston's pitchers against Houston's batters. Also sometimes the red bats on the red-ish brown background psych out the player using the cards.
