Title: RBI Music
Post by: golfer5714 on 02/16/10, 08:08:17 PM
Has anybody made up lyrics to the RBI theme song (either one of them)?  We probably listen to the RBI music half the time and listen to other music the other half.

It is a real song, I think it is from some sort of play or something.  I played it for my sister once and she immediately recognized it and had never played the game.  I'll ask her sometime what it's called if she remembers.

I don't think it is a japanese song.  Just cause it was made in Japan doesn't mean the music is.

She's a honky unfortunately.  She is divorced though so she is available.

My band does a goofy spoken word segment sometimes when we play live, and my bass player will break into an anecdote of sorts. While that goes on, we play the "guy on base" music. Such a goofy bassline, but it's a lot of fun.

A-C#-E-A (for you musicians wanting to know the notes)

What was the comment about the "kid from Madison?"  I didn't get that, although that picture of the lakefront they show is right where I used to live.
