Title: Strategy vs Computer
Post by: lrod4 on 02/18/10, 08:14:41 PM
Good Evening

I plan on playing the new 1987 and the 2010 roms.  I love playing RBI and I would like to know if there are any strategies that any of you use when playing vs the CPU.

I know there is the juiced 2010 ROM so that might help.

Thanks a lot

Luke

To make it hrder, I use the juiced rom, followng these rules:

That is because you are bad at RBI Baseball.

But I won the RBI tourney at the last Dee-Nee Manolympics!  But yes, I do suck...

I straight pitch, no changing up speed, and no taking advantage of the fact that with less than two outs and a man on third I can bunt back to back balls to load the bases. Or the fact that with runners on the corners I can steal second uncontested with anybody. Or holding up the runner an inch before home plate so that I can advance all the other runners when the computer throws home even though they can't get him.

Gantry, I have no idea bout your skills, I'm just a smartass.

Play the juiced version, most of the things you mentioned you aren't able to really do because the defense is too fast, but not so much that it's obnoxious.

I can't hit for shit in curve, but I can pitch relatively well.  Meh is probably the best way to rate me.
