you look at him and straw in that picture and the initial response is "boy, what a couple of fuckups"...but after a few seconds it made me kind of sad to think about them. both of them had enough talent to be known as all time greats for the rest of any of our lives, but they couldn't figure out how to handle it all. part of it is that they were awesome when i was a little kid, so i wanted to see them succeed...but by the time i hit junior high it was apparent that they had screwed everything up.
I wonder what would have happened if they didn't come up in such a shitty organization
