Ok...I've been reading alot of these threads about getting RBI on your computer and playing opponents on line but I'm getting the impression it hasn't been too successful for most. If I spend a good portion of my evening to try and set this up, is there actually a reasonable chance I'll be able to play on line against anybody?
Or am I stuck playing the shitty CPU for the rest of my life?
To be honest Shooty, I would wait until Lips and I get off our lazy asses and actually try to set this up easily. With the new FCE Ultra, we can setup dee-nee.com as a central server so that both side can connect there first to play RBI. This is very beneficial because you don't have to dick around with the 2-man local client/server method between players. So I say wait for us and keep bothering us about it until it gets done...

PLEASE guys, DO THIS! You can rock the RBI world forever with this...I can see this changing the RBI community like the advent of dee-nee.com did!! :D
This would very much revolutionize the world of RBI as we know it. Gantry and Lips, do what you can. If this comes through we'll have to make a Mt. Dee-Nee with your faces on it.
I hadn't noticed that they released the code for the server. I'm dying to see how well it works also.
