I know some of you played in the tournament a couple months ago, but I wanted to gauge some interest in another tourney. I'm in the Milwaukee area and have at least a few guys that would be interested. Anyone else?
It's all about someone getting a tourney organized with at least 8-16 players and prize money. There are plenty of people in the Chicago area who would go to a tourney in Milwaukee. Shit, Beales and his crew will go anywhere, so Milwaukee is a quick trip for them...
You happen to know guy of the RBI Milwaukee page? He posts on here (though not much lately) and had one of the 'nets original RBI site, the Milwaukee RBI Page...
I don't know the guy from the Milwaukee RBI page - maybe he'll see some of this and contact me.
What's the standard prize money and are tournaments usually drinking or sober RBI? I think a drinking tournament - with prize money - would be the most interesting. Tolerance as well as skills would play a role.
-How many people went to NIU and when? My cousin played football there.
Who doens't love Leshon Johnson?
There were four of us who went in the late 80s...
Look out for NIU's new NFL running back, Michael "The Burner" Turner playing for the Giants next year. Screw Eli Manning, Turner is their franchise draft pick...

What were you guys child geniuses? :)
Errr... late 90s
I think my cousin graduated in '97 or so. Does Mitch Jacoby sound familiar? He played in the pros for a couple years. I saw a ton of games down there.

1. I have contact info for the ex-Milwaukee RBI group. They won't see any of this because they're not members or online fanatics. E-mail me if you want their info.
2. I'd join a tournament in Milwaukee as long as it's non-drinking. I'm sure Foster, Cordiano, Kazmierczak, and Callan would join too... assuming the entry fee isn't outrageously high.
3. I think a solid entry fee is between $20-100. Also feel that a 16 player tournament is sorta necessary to draw people from out of town (like the above mentioned). However, I'd join any 12+ player tourney.
