Jeez, 7-9 gets you in right now in DoveRBI? Even I'd be in the race there.

Hell, Gantry League has gone something like 17-14 against DoveRBI, and if you take out the Empire it's 15-7.

Joke league.

Well, I think Sabes is on the hill, so there's a good chance of that happening.

Exactly why I have them in my division. Consider it a perk that I exploit for the work I put in.

Way to go fuckfaces.  Nice offense, the Cunts.

That was a hell of a pitchers' duel for five innings.

I am still worried about my offense.  You can't expect to hit eight consecutive singles (or however many it was in the sixth inning) very often.

Frank Viola is the worst pitcher in the league.

Also, Raines had no business going for a triple to lead off the game.  Stop and 2nd and let Pendleton knock you in, fuckface.

Bunch of fuckfaces.

It's going to be a quiet flight home for the Empire. Unacceptable performance. Apparently the success has gotten to their heads. They think their shit don't stink, and they paid the price for it. I lashed out at them after the game, changes may have to be made. We have no business getting mercy ruled by an inferior Alliance. Those fuckers are going to run until they puke---in the airport parking lot---as soon as they step off the plane. Time to drop the hammer on those fucks.

Hey Alec, how does our PWNAGE of the #1 team in your division feel?   If that's the best your division has to offer, yall are going to have a very short postseason.

Feels like you're never gonna make it far enough to face a team from our division in the postseason.

How are the pitching changes decided in this league?  I must have missed where it said starters are allowed to pitch until their arm falls off or they almost blow a giant lead or both.

Viola is reporting elbow soreness that arised after his masterpiece.  Reminscient of Pedro post the 1999 All-Star game.  Might have put all he had into the gem.  Big trouble for the Cunts.

The wave of boxscores will come in much later today---then as soon as the last one is done, the week 18 thread will be erected and the games will follow no later than a half hour after the thread is posted.

I'm not convinced of this... we were living off a whole lot of non-homers that game, and I have a hard time believing that's much more than luck.

Poopydicks stun Fighting Ulrachers in ho-hum win

Chicago (AP) - The Poopydicks jumped all over D.Gooden and never looked back as they cruised to an easy 23-19 victory over the Fighting Ulrachers.

The first place Gantry league team looked flat and may have underestimated the Poopydicks since the word around the campfire suggested that the Dove RBI league was inferior.

G.Brett and J.Canseco each blasted a pair of shots and drove in 5 runners.

With the loss, the Ulrachers drop into a first place tie with the OC Legions of Doom. The OC mercy ruled the Cunts later in the evening. The Poopydicks remain in sole possession of second place in the Dove RBI league.

Poopydicks 9-8, (6-4)
Fighting Ulrachers 10-7, (7-4)

Pabst Blue Ribbons clutch up in the 9th

Oklahoma City (AP) - The Pabst Blue Ribbons kept their playoff hopes alive as they held on to win 16-13 over the Awesome Badasses.

The score was even at 13 in the top of the 9th inning. Burlsn led off with a double, and HoJo broke the tie with a RBI double. D.Baylor then followed up with a 2-run mammoth blast to give the Pabst Blue Ribbons a 16-13 lead heading into the bottom of the 9th inning.
Kerfld came in and retired the side in order to earn the victory.

The Pabst Blue Ribbons are only one game behind the 3rd place Sally Cunts, but lost the season series---so they cannot afford to be in a tie with them at the end of season. With a lot of baseball left, the final playoff spot may be decided in week 22. The OC and Ulrachers appear to have the inside track to the playoffs. The Awesome Badasses will need a miracle to get in the playoffs, and should embrace their role as spoilers right now.

Pabst Blue Ribbons 8-9, (6-4)
Awesome Badasses 6-11, (1-9)

Banana Hammocks chomp Fighting Artichokes for dinner

Milwaukee (AP) - The Banana Hammocks disposed of the Fighting Artichokes in 6 short innings as they laid a mercy rule win 16-6.

C.Davis led the onslaught by going 5-5 with a pair of shots and 4 RBI. Clemens had a strong outing and went the full six innings and only allowed 6 ER.

The Fighting Artichokes, who have the worst record in the FRBI League,  have now been mercy ruled three games in a row and have been outscored 58-25 in that span.

The Banana Hammocks remain in a 3rd place tie with the Alliance in the Dove RBI division.

Fighting Artichokes 5-12, (3-8)
Banana Hammocks 8-9, (5-6)

OC Legions of Doom pound the Sally Cunts

San Luis Obispo (AP) - In a key Gantry league showdown on a beautiful sunny day on California's central coast, the OC Legions of Doom used great pitching and a couple of big innings to mercy rule the Sally Cunts 16-5 in 8 innings.

Witt and Alxndr combined to give up only 5 runs in 8 innings against the Sally Cunts anemic offense.
Down 5-2 in the 6th inning, the OC woke up by delivering a relentless 9-run rally to go up 11-5. Then in the bottom of the 8th inning, Lindmn hit a 2-run shot to end the game at 16-5.

With the crucial win, the OC now move into a first place tie with the Fighting Ulrachers while the Sally Cunts drop into third place. The two teams will face off again tonight. However, the game will take place in Sioux Falls and not in California since the OC and Legions of Doom have a dual home agreement.

Sally Cunts 9-8, (6-5)
OC Legions of Doom 10-7, (6-4)

Rebel Alliance shock first place Galactic Empire with mercy rule annihilation

Madison (AP) - The Rebel Alliance fed off their home crowd's octane energy and jumped all over Nando and the Empire. In three quick innings, the Alliance scored 12 runs and held the Empire to just one run as the crowd stayed at the field hours after the game celebrating their first win ever over the Galactic Empire in 6 tries.

Nokes, Armas, E.Davis, and Tramml all homered while pitcher J.Morris helped his own cause with 2 hits and setting up the top of the lineup. J.Morris aced his former team by only allowing 1 run in three innings.

The win keeps the Alliance in a third place tie with the Banana Hammocks while both teams are only one game behind the Poopydicks for second place. Borrowing an epic collapse, first place appears to be locked up by the juggernaut Empire who have now been in first place in the Dove RBI league 38/39 weeks.

Galactic Empire 12-5, (7-3)
Rebel Alliance 8-9, (5-5)
