Okay, I'm sure we've done this before or it was done before I started to dee nee, but who is everyone's favorite RBI player?
I'm not asking who you think is the best or anything like that, but who is your favorite player? Why?
For me, it's a tie between Chili Davis and Tony Bringin' the Pena.
Chili is a five tool player and the best 7 hole hitter in the game. Plus, the dude's name is Chili for chrissakes. He hits bombs at all the right moments and did I mention his name is Chili?
Tony Pena pulled a Gibby Fistpump against Chubbs, but did it against the NL to win a 5 game series. Easily the most exciting RBI moment of my entire life. Chubbs still cries himself to sleep on his huge pillow over that one.
Coleman is my favorite player to play with, because I love the speed game, but I also share your irrational fandom of Pena. He just always produced for me.
I need clarification because my favorite player in the game is different than my favorite real live player who is in the game.
I think he means player in the game.
Jim Rice, btw, but I am a boston nut.
Even though Rob Wilfong is quickly gaining, Harry Spilman is my fav. I just love batting with the guy, always gets me excited. I "try" harder when he is up because I hit so well with him and want a dinger every time. Nothing is more exciting than having Spilman at the plate. Unless it's against a lefty pitcher...
Tom Brookens an Tom Brunanski.
I love the name Tom, I guess.
I'm going to have to go with my namesake on this one. However, my honorable mentions would be: Teufel, Kerfield, El Gasolino (Berenguer) and Maldonado. Every player in the game has become an icon to me though.
I think I have to go with Mike Krukow
Fuck you bitches... Uncle Jessie Orosco rules.
Tom Brookens is my favorite.
My favorite player to bat with is either Kirk Gibson or Tim Raines.
Nobody tops Tudor for pitching for me, but my favorite players has gotta be Straw... in my opinion, the most complete player in the game...
I'm a big fan of Tony Warning Track Power Pena and also Eric Davis. Harry Spilman is also unstoppable. Thank you Gantry for showing me how to use SF the right way.
I gotta go with Jim "I got a 12 inch trouser snake" Lindeman. The dude is insane...there is no way he should be so good...but somehow he is.
Darrell Evans for me, all the way. Part of the Tigers' lefty barrage, and a threat to go Natural or better with every swing...
