try some of these brain-busters before you play your next game:
how many light bulbs are in one set of lights above tengen field?
what is unique about the lining/painting/striping/chalking of the infield when you compare it to a major league field?
what is the paid attendance at every game?
how many players celebrate each victory in the newspaper? bonus: how many in the season victory?
which dugout is assigned to the home team?
what is unique about the on-deck circles?
how many total players on the ten teams of the tengen league?
Answers will come later... figure them out for yourself, it's more fun than homework!
1) 48?
2) They aren't straight lines or one straight line for that matter
3)0 (I don't think anybody pays for these games)
4) Rightfield
5) they're not circles
6) 127 (it would be 128, but Lou Whitaker isn't a real player)
close on some of those.... anybody else want to give it a shot?

3 and 4 (the three throw the fourth in the air)
i knew a few of those without cheating. Good questions. Thanks to this site i won $10 dollars betting my dipshit friend that Reggie Jackson was on California in this game not Bo Jackson.

Ask your jackass friend exactly when Bo Jackson played for the Angels.
Bdawk beat me to it, but Ben, your friend is a moron.
There's also the fact that it looks nothing like Bo Jackson.
Speaking of Bo Jackson, does anyone know what he is doing these days?
Bo was in a feature article in SI not too long ago. He's a homebody who loves to cook gourmet style who finished up his degree after retirement.

Bullshit. He's still dominating every game of Super Tecmo Bowl.
how many light bulbs are in one set of lights above tengen field?
A:48
what is unique about the lining/painting/striping/chalking of the infield when you compare it to a major league field?
A: there's no runners lane halfway down the first baseline. there's also no inner line which usually signifies the edge of the infield between first and second and third and second.
what is the paid attendance at every game?
A: every game is a sell-out, just look at all the fans there! Any guess on the actual number? 35,000?
how many players celebrate each victory in the newspaper? bonus: how many in the season victory?
A: Three (even in loss), and four at the season victory.
which dugout is assigned to the home team?
A: First base side dugout.
what is unique about the on-deck circles?
A: They are one-third of the way to the plate...strangely far away from the dugout.
how many total players on the ten teams of the tengen league?
A: 160; 8 starting field players, 4 pitchers, 4 bench players. 16 per team x 10 teams= 160 players. Sadly, no Bo Jackson
Ultimate 7 YOURE A WINNER!

You don't know that they all paid to get in - it may be that they let people in for free to pad their attendance numbers. Not that people wouldn't pay to see RBI, of course...
If we can pitch RBI trivia to Jeopardy, maybe we can finally find a way to get rid of that freak Mormon guy who's been on there for like two months now...

You are on a photoshop roll.
Thanks. I just installed it in my work computer, so naturally, I'm trying to come up with as many RBI uses for it as possible...
That is the funniest thing I've seen all day.
me rikey! :D
Bdawk.... He thought this game was made in 90 and thought that was around the time Bo played with CALI. However it was 94. He may not know much on RBI trivia night or whatever, but all of his info does not come from this site jackass.
Apparently, most of his information doesn't come from this site, but rather his own ass...

Look Ben, don't be gettin your panties in a bunch. Your friend's the one who was ten years off.

Not to mention the fact that he chooses to get his information from places other than this site.
whatever he was confusing two JACKSONS that did play for the Angels when we were all to little to remember what years they played. That is more understandable since it was both late in their careers. But you did not know Bo with the Angels? BDawk don't know baseball.

Yeah, and you're probably going to say that Tim Burks didn't play for the Sox in '86.
There have been 7 seasons where a player had 30 HR, 100 RBI, 100 runs, 30 steals, and 200 hits.
Who is the only RBIer to accomplish this feat?
First instinct, which I know is wrong because he wouldn't have gotten 200 hits, is Canseco in his 42/40 year. But I love being wrong, so Canseco. Eric Davis
Double wrong.
8)
dawson?
No. Hint: He is an RBI bench player.
Harry Spilman
murph
if it's not him i'll let others guess but i think it's him
Murphy would never have made it to 200 hits. Walked too much and was never a high average guy.
Not Murphy.
Spilman is just a horrible guess. I'll assume it was a joke.
dang

Well, we all know he did each of those, probably different seasons.
Tim/Ellis Burks
HoJo?
Yep. With the Rockies.
Besides Nolan Ryan, who is the only other RBI pitcher with more than 140 walks in a season?
Going with Harry Spilman
Turns out I was looking at Bobby Witt instead of Mike Witt. So yes, the answer is Spilmn
