First game, I had an early lead with an RBI in the first; but a critical error as I risked a throw in a bout the fourth inning, with a man on base already, a grounder was hit to my second baseman ;my firstbase man was off his base, but was closing it. I threw it, thinking mistakenly that the first baseman was close enough, but it was a wild through and an error, allowing an RBI. Ended up losing 2 -1, despite my Ace Lee on the mound.

Next game was a blowout, Bay my slugger had a horrible game, stranding runners on base, while the home team pounded several homers. A late homer by my lefty Smith, rare for him, made it look better but the side was closed out.

Jack & Jose will post the next games we played, as the series comes to Cincinatti town, and I get some revenge.

Game 3
Cincy came roaring back with avengence on their home turf.  Homeruns from Bay and Smith propelled the Reds to a 4-0 shutout victory.  The Rockies only managed 2 hits and were wishing they were back in the thin air of Colorado.

Awesome! Glad this finally got played.  We'll take a short off-season and then regroup and get back into things again in the near future.

Game 4
The Rockies got off to a great start with a two run bomb from Zimmerman.  He took an inside heater and belted it deep into the left field stands with Beltran aboard.  World Series MVP Beltran, then added a solo shot in the third(his second of the series) to make it 3-0.  The Reds finally scored a run in the 7th but stranded a bunch of runners in the late innings and the Rockies won the game 3-1 with Street getting the save.  Rockies win the World Series 3-1!!!
Thanks Turd for giving us an awesome league!  I look forward to next season.
