Title: 13-2 win, all solo homers
Post by: capt_taco on 08/01/04, 07:10:51 AM
Had a game today in which I won 13-2. I was playing Boston, and the computer was California. Thing is, in scoring those 13 runs, I hit 12 home runs. Every one of my hits was a homer, except one time when Wade F#^(*^#!! Boggs hit one off the wall for a triple, then Rice knocked him in with a 2-run shot.

Also, some asshole hit a single with two outs in the third, and I left him on base intentionally.

If this works, you should have a picture as proof..

Impressive against the computer, but our straight pitch records top that a bit - from the Records Page (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/records.shtml)

Most runs in a Game where all hits are solo homers - 7 by Potsie (NY) on 6/24/2002 and (Det) on 1/17/2003

What's that little orange thing in centerfield?

Ok...

1) Thanks for resizing the picture; it was almost embarrassing how big it came across.

2) I wondered what the little orange thing is too. I figured out it's a reflection of me taking the picture and covering up most but not all of the flash.

3) That's the most homer-fillled game I've had in a long time, though the human opponents around me play curve style, so we don't hit as many. Of course, the computer uses curve style too, so same thing.

4) Also, the human opponents here are the quality of dog shit. You may have heard me grumbling about this before. I think I'll fire off another e-mail to that SoCal guy with the West Coast league. That is, after I finish sucking down some more Olde English High Gravity.
