I learned something new today.

Apparently, this guy is an avid RBI Baseball player to the point that his at-bat music is the song from the game.
Discuss.
Wonder if he knows about the site, that would give two minor leagues on Dee-Nee (to go with GPines)
GPines is a minor leaguer?
And how did you find out that this Dennis Anderson dude plays RBI music when he bats?
Didn't Baines' buddy play the RBI music when he strode to the plate? I don't think it was minor league ball but cool nonetheless.
Interesting question. Perhaps time for another thread?
Another baseball site. They're reputable, so I'd trust them.
The Mudcats' Dennis Anderson is an avid RBI Baseball player, and when he comes up to bat, they play the theme music from the game. They've also created a RBI Baseball-like graphic for the scoreboard.
Maybe we could organize a trip to South Carolina. :)
What is the other site? Not that I don't believe you...I'd just like to see that, since that's so cool!
I do...always. You gotta be able to hear when the fastball is comin'...
Always with the sound on unless I play on my PC at work

helps with the fly balls sometimes too.... i always used to get yelled at when i lived at home for playing with the sound on though, for some reason my mom thought the catchy tune got annoying.....

Just out of curiosity...does anybody here play with the sound on (on a regular basis)?
We ALWAYS play with the sound on. It definitely helps with gameplay and damnit, I just love the jingle.
I gotta get a fuckin cd player for the basement...that song is eating my will to live.
I LOVE the RBI music. I was stunned when I first found this site and saw that people I hated it. I just don't get it. Last week when we were playing pre-going out, my friend had a few and with a runner on base he started singing "the mouse beat the sheep" over and over with the music. It works well, even if it gets annoying on repeat.

Yeah, it was my cousin. He goes by SalBando on here but doesn't post a lot. He plays for Earlham College in Indiana and would come up to the RBI music. They also would play the appropriate music for whether or not there were runners on base. During the weekend series we were at, they even played the between innings music a couple times.
I've also heard them play the runners on base music at Lexington Legends (A ball affiliate of the Astros) games.

I personally prefer to sing "balls to the wall" over and over to that music.
Speaking of the RBI music, does anybody have the RBI ringtone for verizon wireless?
If you have internet access on your phone, I posted one on 3gupload.com. The title is "RBI Baseball - bases empty music" and the artist is Harry Spilman. There should also be a way to get it from there without the internet but I'm not really sure how to do it.
I did try 3gupload after you mentioned the rbi theme but it doesn't support my Motorola v66 phone unfortunately...
Also, 3gupload doesn't support verizon wireless. :(
