With some down time while im on vacation in turkey i went online and saw that an rbi legend got in the hof today, so i had to see what was happening on the forums. Not a whole lot of rbi has been played since i last posted...actually no rbi has been played since i lost the title to greg over a year ago. Maybe thats why he seems to only want to play washers now instead of rbi. Hopefully we will have a series soon when i get home. A quick update on the crew: I finished my undergrad this spring and my baseball playing career after we(chapman university) lost in the ncaa div. 3 championship game. This fall i will go back to get my teaching credential. Greg just celebrated his one year wedding anniv. and is still teaching and coaching baseball at a local high school. Gwynn3k hasn't been seen since his last trip back to socal last january, but from his fb message he says he is having rbi withdrawals. Good to be back on the forums.
Plenty of RBI has been played (rbibaseball.us). Do you guys play locally on a console or something?
Vacation in Turkey? Fancy, huh?
hows the dark meat?
Man, Burnzky has graduated college, we are all getting old. Welcome back!
Tell that no good SOB Gywnn3k to post on here, it's an easy place to find
I had a dream last night that I met burnzky at the mall.
How do you play "washers"?
Seriously Beef? You've never played washers? It's a similar game to bag toss/cornhole, but you throw washers (we coat ours in rubber/plastic) at wooden boxes and try to land them in a coffee can...hopefully landing it around the pole (often called a nutter).
Bag toss, cornhole, pole, nutter. That's what she said.
So it's a game for poor people.

I don't believe that I have played this either
Wow...it's fairly big for tailgating...

If you win do you get your choice of three different $0.25 prizes?

Can you opt for the cash equivalent?
maybe it's a midwest thing, and they call us the flyover land and they haven't heard of washers...odd.
I've played/known of washers probably 15 years before cornhole.
It's more fun than cornhole, imo.

I've lived in the midwest my entire life (as has Gantry, as far as I know)... I'm gonna say that if it's a "midwest thing", it's not very widespread throughout the midwest.
I don't want to be associated with Wisconsin in any way, shape or form. Canada should annex that whole fkn place, except Kenosha - love that Woodmans
Wouldn't it make sense for canada to annex one of the 14 states that are closer to its border. Not sure why so many people think Wisconsin is basically in Canada? Public education, I would assume.
I have a friend from high school that grew up in Turkey and he goes back every few years to visit his family. It's pretty cool here, different, but the food is great. My brother is really into washers now days, he has a website for it too. http://tallicamonster.com/Washers.htm (http://tallicamonster.com/Washers.htm) Too bad he doesn't have the R.B.I. one anymore...

No, it would make sense to annex the piece of shit state that nobody here wants. They'd get it for pennies for the dollar, and the Packers could contend for a .500 record every year in the CFL
You and your shitty QB had your opportunity to oust us twice, once for a trip to the superbowl. Wipe the sand outchyo vagina...

Those are some strange rules. What's the deal with the golden washer... weird. Is that just something you guys came up with to try to make the game more interesting?
Also, all the washers I've played used soup cans in the middle. Looks like you guys have some fancy center cup made especially for washers.
Soup can I think is the most prevalent, though I've seen PVC, and in one of our sets we have a plastic accordion type piping that works pretty well.
I think the gold washer was something my bro came up with, I don't think we have played without using them before. The center cup is made out of PVC I think.
