Title: CPU vs CPU gambling
Post by: bopbop on 10/21/11, 12:41:41 AM
So me and a friend were drunk and started to bet on CPU vs CPU match-ups in RBI baseball. It was pretty funny because the CPU is so ridiculous sometimes making terrible throws to 1st base when no one is there etc. Anyways I was trying to figure out how to figure out fair odds for say Am vs Na. My guess is it's very much 50/50 but I tried to write a AHK program to sim a matchup over and over at max speed on an emulator, but the emulator and AHK seem to hate each other. So I was wondering if anyone had a tips to figure this out??

Didn't TBT or Darky or someone else used to do like hundreds of WatchGame matchups and keep stats/standings?

That would probably be a pretty good baseline.

I know ultimate kept a log of Tecmo Super Bowl season sim results, but I don't recall whether he did the same for RBI.
