Title: Question about Pitcher Stamina
Post by: remop on 02/15/12, 12:21:53 AM
I was looking at an RBI FAQ posted by thalivest, with credit given to nightwulf.

Does anyone know what Un1 and Un2 mean?  I assume this is related to Stamina in some way, but I can't figure it out.

Pitchers were listed like this:
No Name   R/L ERA  Snk Curve Snk Crv Fst Sta Un1 Un2
=======================================
01 Witt    RHP 2.84   4   7   9 144 160 186  50 115 140

"Unknown 1" and "unknown 2." We determined that they were never loaded in 2p games and subsequently lost interest in figuring out exactly what they do.

Somewhere along the line someone posted that someone else had determined they were related to CPU-controlled pitcher behavior. Sounds plausible to me.

Edit: yeah, it was in this thread (http://forums.dee-nee.com/index.php?topic=23229.0).

Yeah, in my ROMs I simply just take the most common setup which was 140 and 115 for right and left and apply them to the pitcher based on left or right handed...

Thanks for the reply.  I am putting together a local database so I can execute some queries against the data.  I will probably just leave this stat out then, since it probably won't affect any of my expected results.

it only effects watch games or computer controlled opponent pitching.
