gantry and Co.,
which of you bums were at goonfest on saturday, well at the brewers game anyways? i remember seeing you guys but don't remember which guys it was. i was completely annihilated when i met you. and still haven't gotten my camera back. i lost it at a bar later that night, thank god my brother found it randomly and i have to get that from him tonight. anyways, night to meet you guys, i hope i can kick your ass in rbi sometime. ARrrrrrrrgh!!
Don't worry Roogs, Lipitz and I (who you met) were also pretty good to go by the time we chatted, none of the conversation I remember. We should have tried to find you earlier in the day, we saw the Pirate flags the whole time....
Man, the entire Goon squad was pretty bad shape when we first tried to find you right before the game. There were quite a few half-dead pirates just lying in their cars, staring up at the sky. What were you guys drinking, gasoline?
you ever seen the movie 'over the top' with stallone. one of those big arm wrestlers swallows antifreeze or something...yeah we did something like that. but we play 2 different games with several rounds that require chugging entire beers in a matter of seconds. oh! and tailgaiting for six hour prior to the start of the game doesn't help. how long had you guys planned on going to that game?
in fact, leave your post, i'lm leaving work now, will get back to you tonight or tommorow at work.
I, too, forgot our conversations - DRUNK!!!! All I remember is Gantry calling me over and saying "this is T Roogs". Roogs, you and I were talking about god knows what...while Gantry went to the bathroom. I was pretty good to go. I remember talking about online RBI, though. Dee-Nee!!
But Gantry's right...when we went looking for you, late in the tailgate...we came across your brother (and some other pirates). And he, too, was very good to go.
I am pretty sure you met Vitb6 and Sperling because I think all of us got involved in the picture taking. But I guess your camera will have the evidence.
my camera will and does have the evidence. but i forgot my USB cord at my apt. so i'll do it when i get home from work. one guy was wearing a jersey, i'd guess eddie george but he's not #20 i don't think. i think i remember talking about my one hitter i just posted about and then that online stuff, but i don't remember any details, if i did, i'd be so disapointed cuz goonfest was such a success.
That #20 was Vitb6 (aka Jason) and he was wearing a Travis Henry jersey. Wow, I don't really remember any of that. I must have been really drunk if I took pictures....
God bless tailgating...
I'm quite sure you didn't take pictures. Although my new camera is $400 and i dropped it numerous times throughout the day and have the scars to show it, some other non pirate took the picture. I think your g/f. I have 2 brain cells leftover from anything after the game, thank god for cameras. thank god for lax security and beer vendors in the bleachers.
So the Dee-Nee crew was at Miller Park?
Anyone coming up for tonight's game? I was thinking about going.
It's funny that you should ask. I am going to tonight's game against the Cubs, but it's for work. We are taking our Milwaukee client to the game, so I won't be able to meet up or anything.

what section are you going to be in? i think i'm in 118. i'll be wearing a yellow 80s style brewers shirt. i'm sure i'll be the only person wearing one at a brewers game.
CREAMY
Argh motherfuckers.
And the goonfest boys went all out with the pirate themes. Even the ladies were decked out in pirate gear and they had a few monsterous pirate flags waving from their cars. I swiped a pirate cutout from the ground and put it up on the wall at the dee-nee house. Yarr!
gantry, if you took one of those pirate guy cutouts and put it in the deenee house, my life will be complete.
Ok, I just got back from the Brewers-Cubs game. Wilfong...sorry, I didn't get back to you - I left for the client at 1:30pm.
Anyways, I just received this pic from a friend of ours...
Sperling - In front
Lips - Blue & Khaki
Vitb6 - Travis Henry jersey
Gantry - Back, left
T Roogs - Back, right
yeah, that's the one i got. as you can see you are all looking at my camera i assume.

4, didn't realize the pics were so big.
Who is the Brewers fan with the jewelry?
I resized all of your images, Roogs.
YAAAAAAAAaaaaAAAAAAaaaaaARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Lips, what did you think of the game?
I was in the 9th row behind home plate - I loved the game. I realize you're probably a Cubs fan, but being a Milwaukee guy, it's great to see the other team's fans leave your stadium unhappy. I went with a friend who is a cubs fan and told him that we needed the game more because we haven't had a winning season in over a decade. The streak could be over half my age at the end of this season.
Who's the drunk chick getting hot over the Brewer's video? Classic pose.
Gantry, nice PBR shirt. I expect nothing less.
Brewers Video...HA!!!!
How about Jim Gantner Bobblehead Day?! Yeah!!!! Or as my drunk ass referred to it as...Jim Gantry Day.
Wilfong, man...the game was brutal. The Cubs really need to find some offense and some rhythm if they are gonna contend down the stretch. But what about that blown call at first base (for the double play)? Of course, it wasn't replayed on the big screen since the tv guys saw it was such a bad call (which benefited the Brewers). On the drive home, the announcers were also saying how bad it was...
And the mysteriously lady goes by the name of Skinny. I don't even think she's 90 pounds, and she probably drinks more Old Styles than Gantry.
Oh yeah, who's Gantry flicking off?
where'd you guys sit on saturday. did you see us sing the 7th innning stretch? i guess we were on there at least 5 times....one drunk girl threw the bobblehead doll into the marlins bullpen from 20 ft up in the bleachers, she apoligized and it was ok. thank god she was cute. any guy would have been put in jail.
We sat on the right field side, in the 200-something section. I remember seeing the goons on the big screen, at least once. I have no idea when, though...too drunk.
"Skinny" looks like a girl that's interested in having a good time. I'd like to meet her.
Gantner's middle name: Elmer.
Jim Gantry Day!!!!
Ok...one more interesting trivia tidbit.
Gantner's nickname...Gumby.
Look at my profile page (http://dee-nee.com/rbi/lipitz.shtml).

Skinny just read the thread and says "stay the hell away from me"
OK!
Well, maybe some other time.
What an ugly looking bunch of misfits and ne'er do wells.

The scoreboard people don't show any controversial calls either way. I'm not sure why, but if you recall, the only replays they showed were popups and stuff like that. Anyways, I guess the umpires told the Brewers that the run still would have counted even if Clark was out at first. So it didn't end up costing you anything - not like the error on Nomar, which should have been charged to Lee. Losing to the Brewers is pretty bad, 3 runs is pretty much the most we can score. So if you get to 4, the game is over. I also love how Cubs fans booed Sosa in his first at bat and then cheered him in his 2nd because of the bomb.
skinny girls are where it's at.
so help me gantry if you are flicking me off!
skinny seemed like a nice girl. of course as far as i remember, you all could have been females, i probably would not have rememberd if it weren't for the pics.
Quoteso help me gantry if you are flicking me off!
Nah, I typically do the double flick-off when taking pictures. To nobody in general, but I was probably too drunk to aim correctly....
Don't make me lock this fucking thread...because I will.
