Check out this link. I'm pretty sure its bullshit but you neer know.

Well, the programmers' screen is legit even though it's only cool for about 1.5 seconds the first time you do it.
The rest is just crap! "Choose a player with a last name that starts with a "H" for a better chance of them getting a hit."? Come on! The pinch hitters that start with "H" are Hendrick, Henderson, Heath and Heep. I wouldn't place any of these guys as even the best pinch hitters on their own teams! (although it is arguable for Hendu) Jones is better than Hendrick, Madlock and Sheridan are both better than Heath, and Teufel and HoJo are better than Heep. Burks and Armas are at least as good as Henderson and are probably better according to most RBI'ers.
This part was really funny . . . "When you need to make a play, stop using the controller and the CPU will assume control of the team." I think I started laughing out loud when I read this! While I believe it's true that you can control some aspects of the CPU vs. CPU game, there is no more of an inept player than the CPU. I don't think that "making a play" consists of the shortstop falling asleep and missing a routine grounder, or the outfielders totally unorganized when pursuing a ball that goes to the wall. They don't even throw to the correct bases most of the time!
I'm not sure who this guy is, but he definitely sounds like a "Gamewinner".
"When you need to make a play" . . . heh, I'm still laughing about that one.
Thats the silliest damn thing i've ever seen. It reminds me of this old nintendo hint book i picked up for like 50 cents. It says in there that there is no way to beat the game Bionic Commando. I beaten that game tons of times....outright nonsense.
Yeah, I agree. Bionic Commando was one of the easiest action/platform games to beat on the NES. It was alot of fun, however. I would put it right up there with Contra on the fun scale.
Big Hath, I'm still laughing too, that is pretty funny about needing to make a play. I cant' even play the computer anymore they are incompetant of making any play.
Seriously, how bad do you have to be to have the computer play for you? Is this guy playing blindfolded? Or maybe his D-pad doesn't work. I don't even know what to think about this anymore - this guy needs help.
I guess I'll add that crappy set of tips to the links page. The more the merrier...
And that tip with the "H" pinch hitters is everywhere. Either one person submitted to a buttload of tip-sites or they all copy off each other...
there is a lot of but rumors/advice about RBI out on the net...I'll leave it to you to filter the creditable ones out.
