how bout an 8 man 8 week tourney in witch every player must play all original 8 rbi teams. Gantry or Nightwulf could make the order that games are played I would trust them to make that fair. This way everyone would have the fun of trying to win with their worst team.
matches could be just single games or series. I know I haven't been on here for very long so if this idea has allready been brought up I'm sorry.
Idea
I think it sounds like a pretty cool idea.
But possibly even cooler, we could have a draft of all RBI players and then, once all rosters are complete, create a rom with those teams. Then, we could each take our own team v. everybody else's throughout the course of a mini-season (like 10 games or whatever).
which
That sounds awsome Joe. I wonder say if you got everyone together on the chat you could have a real time draft but then again everyone would have to be online at the same time that might be hard. That would be a great draft I'm just imagining the teams and lineups. K in the first rounds do you go for only sluggers, then later look for your starters? I belive a great pitching squad with medicore hitting might be able to do some damage.
We did a couple of Fantasy RBI leagues a year or so ago, with the type of draft that GDavis mentioned. The thread for the second fantasy draft is here (http://forums.dee-nee.com/index.php?board=7;action=display;threadid=1210), if you're curious as to how people drafted. The rules were that players had to play the position they were listed as in the RBI manual, players who are subs in the original game have to stay subs in the fantasy league (and vice-versa), and each team was allowed one all-star, if he was drafted in the first round.
Yeah. Last time, we just created a separate thread for the draft and whenever you had a quick second to post your pick--you did. It was a pretty smooth process. I'd imagine we'd stick with that.

Except for when I was AWOL for about three hours, holding up the entire draft.
