"Timmy-Two-Step is quite possibly the best right-handed pinch hitter in RBI."
Come on Gantry! Armas, Hendu, Burks, even Heep is better!
I can't necessarily disagree. Based on his stats, Armas should have more punch. Burks and Hendu seem to have the punch coming off the bench.
You should be an investigative journalist Big Apple, you have a flair for the dramatic...
Anyway, though I like the two step, he certainly isn't the best right-handed pinch hitter in RBI. I'll take him over Heep any day of the week, but let me know where you found that and I'll edit it...
the boston pinch hitters are overrated... for my money i like madlock and garner as the best from the right side... armas is a double play waiting to happen.
C'mon guys. Armas...he's da man!
Armas is one of the best players in RBI. Any power hitter is double play prone.
I think the only way to beat Boston is to get at least 3 dp balls.
boston is slow there is no doubt about it... however, like most fatasses, they have plenty of power. its too bad their lefties are as anemic as they are. tiny pines likes wade boggs but chicken boy rides the pine for me.
I dont take into consideration what Boggs does off the field. He stays in the game because he's better than sullivan and I need to save Henderson for later innings. He also tends to go yard from time to time.
tinypines i am glad that you have taken the george steinbrenner approach to your players. how is the field goal kicking going? have you made all your extra points?
All my field goal attempts have been good except for one, ive been successful on 2 onside kicks, and i even made a tackle.
tony "the art of hitting" armas is one of bostons big three off the bench...most know how i feel about sullivan (much like i feel about ball rash)....but the other two are great.....burks leads off and hendu has such pop for the late innning at bat...and a kick ass dance...
