Title: RBI Baseball comic and trading cards
Post by: pdxhamfighters on 09/07/15, 05:31:45 PM
hey dudes.  I made an 8 page comic and a set of 90 trading cards inspired by RBI Baseball .  Each card has a unique front/back with pic of the player's likeness on front and stats on the back. the standard tengen league teams have the original 8 starting players & pitcher, 4 from both AL & NL and 9 special cards.  I even made a card just for the ump.  I'm selling them in packs of 8, w/wo a comic, or you can buy the complete set.  Iffin ya'll are interested in purchasing them I made a store.

This are fantastic and exactly the kind of weird shit I normally buy. Great job! A little more than I would probably spend, but really top notch.

thx man, I worked hard on em.  i was really unsure about pricing them, what do you think would be fair?

Good question.  I completely understand the pricing thing. I'm terrible at it.  As I said, they are obviously not just slapped together, so quality is worth money, and being a web developer I know how valuable our time is on projects like this, so I get that as well.  I'm not necessarily saying they are unfairly priced.  More so, I'm saying it's more than I probably want to spend my disposable income on for something I probably wouldn't get much use out of other than a badass momento of my favorite video game.  It would be freakin' sweet in a man cave, though.  Actually, it'd be pretty cool as decorations at my desk too...

Price? I don't know, $25 a crack seems easier to digest, but I don't want to insult the amount of effort you put into it.

gum and holographic foil were high on the wish list but didn't make budget cuts.

I took turd's advice and dropped prices & shipping

The full set of cards and comic are great. I'm looking to buy some packs of cards to hand out to some fellow RBI fans.  pdxhamfighters, you still have some of those to sell?
