I see a couple of things have changed since I last hacked a rom. It appears that team error was found and that bit could be set. Very nice.
Anyone ever figure out what UN1 & UN2 do for pitchers?
Well hey there, welcome back!
We did some sleuthing many moons back, from what i remember they are only used for CPU pitchers and their impact is kinda minimal. I think I remember seeing default values that were used a good chunk of the time.
While you were gone, one of the original programmers confirmed that the early throw bop is real!

Welcome back, guy!
I believe they have something to do with pitch location - they're used by computer pitchers when they get ready to throw. I'll see if I can dig up the thread.

I so want to believe...
Anything else interesting go on while I was away? Did a mob of pissed of forum users track down clyon81 and issue a code red?
clyon81 has been MIA for about as long as you were.
We actually DID get one of the original Tengen team members on here, though - I believe he worked as a tester on the original RBI and did some development work on 2 & 3 (not positive about the 16-bit sequels, although no one here asked about it).

So you're saying there's a chance he's been eaten alive by a pack of wild dogs?

I can't find this thread. If you know where it is, I'd appreciate the url.

Hey guys, we know what UN1 and 2 do for pitchers. Basically they determine the probability of a pitcher throwing a curve, and it depends on a ton of shit like runners on base, what base theya re on, score, etc. It's really only used for playing vs. the CPU...
