Hey all,
Myself and Turd - along with about 15 other guys are getting together for the Bucks game on 2/24 here in Milwaukee.
We will all be meeting at my house prior to the game and will be spilling back out into the streets of Milwaukee and then back to my house after for more boozing.
We could have some impromptu RBI matches on the arcade machine and if all else fails just have a reason for those of you in the area to catchup. I think it has been since that bowling alley tournament/not remembering where I lived night since I've seen anyone outside of Turd.
If anyone wants to go and needs to crash at my house, let me know, I can get tickets for like $17 a piece, reasonable seats, just have to know how many extras to get before say Monday.
Just thought I'd throw it out there.
I'll be there in spirit, that said my spirit needs a room to crash so book the east wing for it.
It would be more like a futon or recliner in the basement, or let's call it the South Wing...
I figure by the time comes for passing out, even the floor would be fine.
Don't remember the last couple hours of that Milwaukee RBI tourney, so that is likely true...
The key will be trying to figure out where everyone parked the cars after ubering back to the suburbs at the end of the night.
And the choice between whether to go RBI baseball or NBA Jam post game.
As much as I love RBI, if you have the ability to rock 4 play NBA Jam you gotta go with that.
It can be rocked to an extent but I have four eight button setups on my mame box and with so many fucking buttons mapped when four players are going sometimes the emulator can go sideways.
It will definitely be attempted though, whenever there is critical mass the arcade setup gets used.
Besides Turd will be there to troubleshoot any issues, in Turd I trust.
Also, two cats, so that's always a draw.
Good to hear from Bastardo! I'm out unfortunately due to bumpy roads to Milwaukee(Ivan Stewart). Until our Governor decides on how to pay for our roads, I'm staying local. I'd beat you all at RBI anyway.

Look, I'm as for hating Scott Walker as the next guy, but can the roads really be THAT bad?
They aren't good, plus you have to drive to Milwaukee-icky.

Shots fired.
Why not come to Madison sometime? It's much nicer than Milwaukee.

Not that playing the "my town is better than your town" game isn't a great way to get someone drive to Madison, but have you forgotten HOW COMPLETELY DEADLY THE ROADS ARE? No man could survive that drive!
I believe it's the same roads... opposite direction.
I do venture to Madison a few times a year we need to RBI some time soon.
