Title: RBI on Game Boy
Post by: TempoGL on 11/14/22, 05:26:17 PM
Turns out there's a game called Extra Bases, which is clearly a port of RBI (no real players or teams, though).  There's a few reviews of it online (none favorable that I saw), so here's a clip of it in action without commentary:

Good find! I thought for a bit that maybe it was more based on Baseball Simulator 1.000 (selectable stadiums, 6-man pitching staff), but the batter and field graphics look more like RBI.

Later incarnations of Family Stadium from this era do have multiple stadiums

Oh, I totally forgot that! I messed around a bit with FS90 (I think) on an emulator at one point but it's been a long time.

Easily my favorite Gameboy baseball game.
