Is this really a thing? I guess it makes sense because the third baseman might be moving to create a gap but I was unaware of this technique
I am trying to figure out how you time it perfectly to get it down the third base line every time, even setting aside the "where is the fielder at" part of this.

I'm pretty sure this is the strategy for Sega Champion Baseball; the first decent arcade baseball game.
Also the hardest baseball game to beat. I've only done it once...not using the above cheat.
