OK, so I am jobless now due to layoffs. What better unemployed thing to do than to fly halfway across the country to an RBI Tournament.
Is the Chicago tourney the #1 tournament according to the dee-nee community?
I need some info.
Hell yeah the Chicago tournament is #1. No RBI tournament in history has even come close to giving you the number of players and competition level that will be seen in the Second Biannual R.B.I. Baseball COTUT.
Analyze the stats... 32 players (from across the country), 3 days (of intense R.B.I. madness), & $320 dollars (cash) awarded in prize money. Now where are you going to find a larger, more competitive tournament than that?
Besides the fact that you don't want to pass up the opportunity to participate in the best RBI tournament ever, don't forget that the next COTUT won't be held for another two years.

I've been playing RBI for years with some of my old friends. We found this sight along with some others and couldn't believe our eyes. Thanks for the memories and it's nice to know were not the only ones out there crazy enough to still be playing this game....especially with all the baseball games that are out today. Were from the Chicago suburbs and would be interested in participating in any tournaments. Someone should consider setting up a RBI booth and tournament at the next Midwest Classic gaming expo.
Question - I tried to download the Atari RBI rom (rbibb.zip) but got a grey screen. Does anyone know where I can get
a clean version of this classic standup?
Question - Does anyone know where I can get NES RBI hacked games?.....It would be nice if someone could recode the original to make the computer a little more intelligent.
