Baylor just went deep off Witt, looked like the ump blew a called strike 3

That was hilarous - Mauch brought out Mike Witt for a guy named Lucas.  He had one goal, to get out GoGo.  He was 3-for-3 at this point, so Mauch went with the matchup.  What does Lucas do?  One pitch, decks him in the head/hands and goes out of the game....

Henderson barely held up swinging at strike 3 to end the game

Oh Donnie!  I just kept rooting for him even though I knew what was coming...

Hendu was just chucking out there, totally looking for the fences...

Coming up in the bottom of the 9th Boone, Pettis, and Wilfong.  Wilfong will not have the PH bonus, doesn't look good.  :)

Rob Wilfong knocks in Rupperto, brings a tear to my eye.  What a slide by Ruppert!

That's what you get for bringing in Schiraldi

What a fucking game!  Downing's catch and the bunt by the BoSox were both classic...

Chuck Finley is in, I had no idea he was on the 86 Angels....

They should have swapped wives, that would be good TV!

It's over, what a game.  That will stay on the TIVO for quite some time...

They are now doing a one-hour special on the series with a focus on Donnie Moore, Dee-Nee!   Gonna record and save it for when Sperling/Potsie/Lips stop by...

I went out of town Friday at noon and never had a chance to finish commenting.  The Grich homerun that Henederson dropped was a crazy play.

While I was watching the game I didn't realize it was game 5 of a 7 game series, I was thinking it was game 5 tied 2-2 in a best of 5.  After the angels scored in the bottom of the 9th I went to check my BBall Almanac to see how many innings the game was gonna go (I had to get a bunch of shit done before leaving town).  And then I see then RedSox won in 7, not 5, insane.  I don't think you can blame Donnie Moore that much, they had 2 more freaking games left.

the same with Buckner... that only tied the game, and they had a chance to win the next day.
