I was thinking the other day...
I'm a fan of the guy on these boards (sorry I forgot who in specific) who said "Use the Tettleton when in a slump". Anyways I was dickin' around with that theory the other day and I got it into a Tettleton (1/4 swing) and the ball was pitched a ball and they still called it a strike. It should not be a strike because clearly my bat did not cross the plate, correct? Has anyone brought that up before? Any thoughts on that or other little things you've noticed lately in the game?

I could be wrong but i believe the tettleton stance is when you just tap the a button as lightly as possible, giving you even less of a swing than 1/4. The 1/4 swing is counted as a bunt attempt.
the check swing does not exist in rbi... if you want to do the tettleton it is a 1/8 swing... if the bat gets anywhere near the plate it is considered a swing.
i always use the tettolton swing when using boggs and buckner...trust me...it works
Yeah that's what I mean. As little swing as possible. It's still a strike although it shouldn't be.
