Once you sign up you can participate in tournaments. To see if there are any tournaments going on, check out the bottom of the main page "Tournament Calendar"
You can also just play people at random, and it goes into your stats somehow. All I know is that I got one-hit today and I haven't scored a run in 2 games, so I'll become a popular person to challenge.
Normally you report a loss, but I like to report the loss. I attach a jpg of the game in the game info for the case ladder system.
