I came SOOOOOOO close to hitting a walzie (love that name by the way.....I just knew it as the throw your control homer when I gave one up as a kid) in consecutive at-bats with Tom Brookens on my lunch break today. I hit one off Mike Scott in the top of the 5th to the opposite field. In the 6th, he came up again and yanked one close to down the line, but too far into fair territory for the unimaginable double-walzie!!! I was on the edge of my seat. Has anyone ever done such a thing?
I can't even remember two Wallzies in the same game, let alone consecutive Wallzies...
i have personally seen back to back wallzie's 3 times. Amazing.
