This past weekend my roommate purchased this thing called "TV Console" that he saw being played in a mall in Boston b/c he knows of my RBI obsession (he doesnt share it, sadly) and this thing has 150 NES games built in... anyway, we hooked it up yesterday and right away i searched for RBI... first off, the thing lists 80,000 games, which is absurd because the titles just keep repeating.. however they do not repeat in any kind of order so there is no way to tell if you have seen all the games they have to offer... i clicked down for as long as i could bare (you really have to see how painfully these games are listed) and didnt see RBI... does anyone have any info about this system?? is there a reason some games are on and others not?? I mean I will enjoy Contra, Paperboy, Duck Hunt, etc... but RBI would've ensured my GPA to plummet .5-.7 guaratneed... i guess this could be some licensing deal, which i have no knowledge of... the system does have a game called Baseball, which is pretty fun but I just can't cheat on RBI like that...
If it came from a mall, it is likely a legit product. The games in it were most likely licensed from the original makers. Check for any other Tengen games (Gauntlet, Super Sprint, etc) and see if they made the cut...
So they probably didn't want to pay Tengen (who I believe is now owned by Williams) the cash for RBI...
Chubbs was about to invest in one of these things until he found out that RBI is NOT one of the games included. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Ah, Super Sprint, I need to buy that game. There's something about seeing miniature race cars completely expode that makes me laugh every time.

It works good. And you can get any rom you want for free on the internet.
