I was thinking that it would be cool to have a list of all the MLB records held by RBIers (team records would get a little long, I think). Post any records you can find here; it might be a neat addition to the Miscellany page. Here are a few to start with:
Nolan Ryan
- Strikeouts in a season (383)
- Strikeouts in a career, pitcher (5714)
- No-hitters in a career (7)
Roger Clemens
- Cy Young Awards (7)
Reggie Jackson
- Strikeouts in a career, batter (2597)
Kent Hrbek
- Career homeruns indoors (166; I'm not sure whether this has been broken since his retirement - Griffey would be the most likely culprit, thanks to Kingdome)
Great idea beef, why aren't you bitches adding to this?
Bert Blyleven
- Most HRs allowed in a season (50)
where are some good places to search? can we search it by the name of the player, that would be faster than looking at a pge of major league record holders.

For some reason, your bitterness made me chuckle. I've been in that situation fighton. Kudos on the research; you are very underappreciated.
Always appreciated my friend, but as a rule of a life it's always easier to criticize than commend. And I'm too old to change now...
It'd be nice to know if any RBI player holds the record for most GIDP in a season...
Oh wait, that's right--it's posted 4 times already! :o
Yeah, yeah...great work on all the research. I'm the asshole for pointing this out, I guess!
